Aerosol Characterization Experiment (ACE-1): Physical, optical, and chemical properties of atmospheric marine aerosols aboard NOAA R/V Discoverer in the southern hemisphere, 1995-10-13 to 1995-12-13 (NCEI Accession 0311430)

This dataset contains physical, optical, and chemical properties of atmospheric marine aerosols from aboard NOAA R/V Discoverer, collected 13 October to 13 December 1995 during the ACE-1 field campaign. The size distribution measurements are each divided into two legs to reflect a five day break in sampling between cruise legs (10th to 15th of November).
The data is divided into multiple csv datasets, summarized as follows:
Main - Navigation, Meteorology, and Scattering;
Chemistry - Aerosol species concentrations at varying particle diameters;
AOD - Aerosol optical depth at varying wavelengths;
Size Distribution (APS) - Aerodynamic Particle Size Distribution;
Size Distribution (DMPS) - Differential Mobility Particle Size Distribution;
Size Distribution - Merged version of the APS and DMPS datasets
