    "description": "This dataset includes current measurements, navigational, and other data collected aboard the R\/V Sally Ride during cruise SR2322 in the North Pacific Ocean from 2023-09-29 to 2023-10-05. These data include CURRENT SPEED - EAST\/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH\/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, course over ground, and speed over ground. The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP and GPS. These data were collected by Catherine Davis of North Carolina State University, and by University of California - San Diego; Scripps Institution of Oceanography as part of Collaborative Research: Assessing denitrification and other strategies for planktic foraminiferal. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program.\n\nA suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. The ADCP data represent the raw dataset. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession.",
