Initial Joint Polar-orbiting Operational Satellite (IJPS) Telemetry and Ancillary Files

The Initial Joint Polar-orbiting System (IJPS) is a collaboration between The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT). This collection contains two types of companion files: 1) NOAA AIP 1a telemetry file, which contains the AIP minor frame data as generated on-board the satellite for the orbit, and 2) IJPS Ancillary file, a tar file that contains all of the ancillary input files required by the preprocessor in order to identically reproduce its output (e.g., the 1b* data sets). The NOAA datatypes in the collection include the following files: AIP1A telemetry, calibration parameter database, clock drift, four line elements, and two line elements. The EUMETSAT datatypes in the collection include the following files: calibration, OBT-UTC correlation factors, orbital state vectors, and telemetry. In addition, there are files for equator crossing, IJPS ancillary files, orbit number files, and PSCEARS Initialization Report.
