Net Zero Energy Residential Test Facility Instrumented Data; Year 1

This dataset presents measurements from the NIST Net-Zero Energy Residential Test Facility (NZERTF) for a full year of operation. The NZERTF is a laboratory built in the form of a single-family house that serves as a testbed for technologies and operational strategies to achieve energy efficient performance while maintaining a healthy and comfortable indoor environment. The facility is equipped with well-instrumented heating, cooling, ventilation, water heating, lighting, and electrical subsystems as would be present in an efficient home. A photovoltaic array on the roof provides onsite renewable energy. The dataset includes nearly 400 measured parameters for a full year of operation on a minutely basis. Those parameters include indoor temperatures and humidities, outdoor weather conditions, electrical consumption by all devices, hot water consumption, photovoltaic energy generation, and operational schedules of the virtual occupants of the facility. The data presented here are for the first year of operation which occurred from July 1, 2013 through June 31, 2014
