    "description": "This global Level-2 (L2) Environmental Data Record (EDR) provides vertical profiles (temperature, moisture, and pressure) and terrain corrected geolocation information detected by the Cross-track Infrared and Advanced Technology Microwave Sounder Suite (CrIMSS) onboard the Suomi-NPP satellite. The CrIMSS suite consists of two instruments: Cross-track Infrared Sounder (CrIS) and Advanced Technology Microwave Sounder (ATMS). This data set is generated from CrIS and ATMS Sensor Data Records (SDR) and is produced by the NOAA Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS). The data are distributed by the Comprehensive Large Array-Data Stewardship System (CLASS) as aggregated 8 minute files consisting of 15 (32 second) granules in the HDF5 file format with metadata attributes included. Note: This product is deprecated and has been replaced with a newer version produced from NDE (gov.noaa.ncdc:C00868).",
