    "description": "This dataset includes discrete sample and profile data collected during Fisheries and Oceans Canada CCGS Needler cruise NED2015017 (EXPOCODE 18NE20150629) in the Bay of Fundy from 2015-06-29 to 2015-08-17. The data include measurements of Dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity (TA), nutrients, pigments, dissolved oxygen, temperature, salinity and other measurements. Oceanographic sampling of physical; biological and chemical parameters is performed biweekly at selected fixed stations and two to three times annually along selected fixed sections; as part of the Atlantic Zone Monitoring Program. The sampling consists at minimum of vertical profile of the entire water column; water bottle sampling at selected depths of nutrients; salinity and oxygen; vertical net tows for zooplankton and Secchi depth measurement.",
