Sample logs from R/V Atlantis (AT26-14) Alvin dives in the Gulf of Mexico during 2014 (Lophelia OA project) (NCEI Accession 0278173)

This dataset contains biological and survey - biological data collected on Alvin and R/V Atlantis during cruise AT26-14 and deployment AT26-14_Alvin_Dives in the Gulf of Mexico from 2014-04-30 to 2014-05-14. These data include depth and species. The instruments used to collect these data include Alvin Slurp Sampler and Niskin bottle. These data were collected by Dr Erik E. Cordes of Temple University as part of the "Physiological and genetic responses of the deep-water coral, Lophelia pertusa, to ongoing ocean acidification in the Gulf of Mexico (Lophelia OA)" project and "Science, Engineering and Education for Sustainability NSF-Wide Investment (SEES): Ocean Acidification (formerly CRI-OA) (SEES-OA)" program. The Biological and Chemical Oceanography Data Management Office (BCO-DMO) submitted these data to NCEI on 2019-04-24.

The following is the text of the dataset description provided by BCO-DMO:

Sample logs for R/V Atlantis (AT26-14) Alvin dives in 2014.

Dataset Description:
Sample logs from HOV Alvin dives (AL4704-AL4716) on R/V Atlantis (AT26-14) between April - May 2014 in the Gulf of Mexico.
