This study estimated the concentration of microplastics (i.e. plastics measuring less than 5mm; reported in unit of count per individual and count per gram) in Scylla Serrata (Giant mud crab) from the Kota mangroves, southwestern coast of India collected during 2022-11-25. Microplastics were collected using a cylindrical crab trap. Percentages of microplastics in various size ranges and types are reported. This dataset contains the results from all 9 giant mud crab samples, in a spreadsheet format.
