Walton Smith during cruise WS23281 in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2023-10-07 to 2023-10-10. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, CURRENT SPEED - EAST\/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH\/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, course over ground, and speed over ground. The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP, CTD, and GPS. These data were collected by James Happell of University of Miami, and by University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science as part of UMiami Student Cruises. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program.\n\nA suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. The ADCP data represent the raw dataset. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession.",
