This study estimated the concentration of microplastics (i.e. plastics measuring less than 5mm) in water and zooplankton in Kenyaâs marine environment during 2017-02-10 to 2017-02-18. Microplastics in the water were collected with a stainless-steel bucket while zooplankton were collected with a zooplankton net. This dataset contains the results from all 11 water samples and 11 zooplankton samples, in a spreadsheet format.
