Topographic/bathymetric survey using conventional and GPS surveying equipment as part of the West Fork of the Hoquiam River Dam Removal and Groundwater Replacement Preliminary Design and Permitting project from 2023-04-18 to 2023-04-20. (NCEI Accession 0302759)

A topographic and bathymetric survey of the West Fork River near the West Fork Hoquiam River Dam was completed by Parametrix using conventional and GPS surveying equipment. The purpose of this survey was to develop pre-design engineering documents for dam removal. The survey was conducted using field traverse as per Washington Administrative Code (WAC) 332-130-090, Part C. Relative accuracy exceeds one foot in ten thousand. The resulting data and map of this work represents conditions and features existing at the time of this survey in April 2023. Plots, maps, and point data are provided in proprietary formats (e.g., AutoCAD) as well as non-proprietary formats (e.g., CSV, text, and PDF).
