Physical and other data were collected from current meters, bottle casts, CTD casts, meteorological sensors, and other instruments from the GYRE from 09 April 1992 to 02 October 1994. Data were collected by Texas A&M University (TAMU) as part of the Texas-Louisiana Shelf Circulation and Transport Processes Study (LATEX PART A). Current meter parameters include East/West velocity component (U), North/South velocity component, temperature, conductivity, and salinity. CTD parameters include pressure, conductivity, temperature, oxygen, oxygen temperature, % transmission, fluorescence, irradiance (PAR), backscatterance, altitude, water depth, sigma-theta, salinity, potential temperature, sound velocity, and acceleration. Meteorological sensor parameters include air pressure, sea temperature, air temperature, buoyhead, wind speed, and wind direction. Bottle data is not included in accession.
