Data were collected by Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory as part of the US/Chinese Ship of Opportunity Sampling Program from 28 December 2001 to 11 March 2002. XBT data include temperature profiles. XCTD data include profiles of temperature, salinity, conductivity, sound velocity, and density.
