NOAA Climate Data Record (CDR) of Daily Outgoing Longwave Radiation (OLR), Version 1.2

Data provided by  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

This Climate Data Record (CDR) contains the daily mean Outgoing Longwave Radiation (OLR) time series in global 1 degree x 1 degree equal-angle gridded maps spanning from January 1, 1979 to December 31, 2013, and continuing daily with a two-day lag. The OLR is estimated directly from the HIRS radiance observations for all sky conditions. The observations from imagers onboard international operational geostationary satellites are incorporated to improve the sampling of the OLR diurnal variation. The Daily OLR CDR is at its initial version 1.2.

Climate Forecast System Version 2 (CFSv2) Operational Forecasts

Data provided by  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

The Climate Forecast System Version 2 (CFSv2) produced by the NOAA National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) is a fully coupled model representing the interaction between the Earth's oceans, land and atmosphere. The four-times-daily, 9-month control runs, consist of all 6-hourly forecasts, and the monthly means and variable time-series (all variables).

Climate Forecast System Version 2 (CFSv2) Operational Analysis

Data provided by  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

The Climate Forecast System Version 2 (CFSv2) produced by the NOAA National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) is a fully coupled model representing the interaction between the Earth's oceans, land and atmosphere. The CFSv2 Operational Analysis or Climate Data Assimilation System (CDAS), consist of all 6-Hourly CDAS, and the monthly CDAS monthly means and variable time-series (all variables).

NOAA Climate Data Record (CDR) of Sea Surface Temperature - WHOI, Version 1.0 (Version Superseded)

Data provided by  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

*Note: This dataset version has been superseded by a newer version. It is highly recommended that users access the current version. Users should only use this version for special cases, such as reproducing studies that used this version.* The NOAA Ocean Surface Bundle (OSB) Climate Data Record (CDR) consist of three parts: sea surface temperature, near-surface atmospheric properties, and heat fluxes. This portion of the OSB CDR is the NOAA Climate Data Record (CDR) of Sea Surface Temperature - WHOI.

NOAA Atmospheric Carbon Dioxide Mole Fractions from Mauna Loa Observatory, Hawaii, United States

Data provided by  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

This data set contains continuous measurements of atmospheric carbon dioxide mole fractions from the NOAA/ESRL observatory at Mauna Loa, Hawaii. Data are expressed in hourly, daily and monthly averages in units of micromole/mole for the time period of 1974-2013. Data are archived at the NOAA National Climatic Data Center (NCDC), but are produced and available from NOAA Earth System Research Laboratory (ESRL).
