Cooperative Station History Forms
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Various forms, photographs and correspondence documenting the history of Cooperative station instrumentation, location changes, inspections, and commissioning/decommissioning. Forms submitted to the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) from the Weather Bureau, and later National Weather Service offices responsible for station inspection. The original paper forms were held in the NCDC archives, and scanned by a Climate Database Modernization Program contractor.

USRCRN Station Information
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Documentation of United States Regional Climate Reference Network (USRCRN) installations in 2009. Installations documented are for USRCRN pilot project stations in the Four Corners states of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah. These stations were designed to provide the same level of climate science quality measurements as the national-scale U.S. Climate Reference Network (USCRN), but are spaced more closely, and focus solely on temperature and precipitation. USRCRN stations are deployed at a 130 km spatial resolution to provide for the detection of regional climate change signals.

Non-Coop Station History Forms Digest
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Single 71-page document entitled 'Station history non-COOP Keying Rules & Forms Digest,' dated December 12, 2003. Contractors with NCDC Climate Database Modernization Program (CDMP) used this document to key the index fields for the 'Non-Coop Station History' library. The detailed guidelines ensured consistent entries from the many data entry contractors that worked on the task. Many examples of the various forms encountered are included.

Non-Coop Station History
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Station history documentation for stations outside the US Cooperative Observer network. Primarily National Weather Service stations assigned WBAN station IDs. Other stations include Coast Guard, SAWRS, MARS, and Upper Air stations.

Non-Coop Station History (Unindexed)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Station history documentation for stations outside the US Cooperative Observer network. Documents should be compared with those in the Non-Coop Station History library and either indexed and added to that library or deleted if a duplicate of document in that library.
