Physical, chemical, and biological data collected in the Bering Sea and North Pacific Ocean for the Ecosystems & Fisheries-Oceanography Coordinated Investigations (EcoFOCI) project from 1979-09-03 to 2022-04-10
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This dataset includes data collected in support of the Ecosystems & Fisheries-Oceanography Coordinated Investigations (EcoFOCI) project, including mooring time-series data, CTD profile data, discrete nutrient bottle samples, and ocean currents data. The data was collected from various platforms including ships and moorings in the North Pacific Ocean and Arctic Sea. The data was collected between 1979 and 2022.

XBT data assembled by US NOAA Atlantic Oceanographic Meteorological Laboratory (AOML) XBT Network since 1969
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The NOAA’s Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML) has been collecting temperature profiles from expendable Bathythermograph (XBT) along 12 pre-determined transects spanning the entire Atlantic Ocean. Each of the transects are generally surveyed four times per year with "Deep Blue" XBT probes from Sippican, which return temperature from the sea surface to a depth of ~900 m. XBTs are generally deployed with a spacing of 10 km near boundaries/regions with strong currents and 30 km in the ocean interior.

Ocean profile data taken by CTD from Colombian Navy ships during Pacific Oceanographic Cruises XXX - LX in the Colombian Pacific basin from 1998-10-16 to 2020-09-25
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This dataset contains water temperature, and salinity profiles taken by CTD during Pacific Oceanographic Cruises XXX - LX, including Regional Study of the El Niño Phenomenon (ERFEN) cruises XXVIII - XXXVII and Joint Regional Oceanographic Research cruises VI - XXIII, between October 16th, 1998, and September 25th, 2020, by the Pacific Oceanographic and Hydrographic Research Center (CCCP) of the Colombian General Maritime Directorate (DIMAR), aboard the research vessels ARC Malpelo, ARC Gorgona, and ARC Providencia.

Louisiana Hypoxia Surveys 1998-2023: Physical (Hydrography), chemical (CTD), and biological (Water Quality) processes of the Texas-Louisiana continental shelf
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
CTD data were taken during surveys of the Louisiana continental shelf during yearly Shelfwide Hypoxia cruises. Hydrographic data were obtained using CTD. Nutrient, pigment, suspended sediment, surface salinity, Secchi depth, and station information data were also acquired.

Sea Turtle Beaching Probability Index (BPI) in the Northern Gulf of America from 2017-01-01 to present
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This dataset contains the sea turtle beaching probability index (BPI) for the northern Gulf of America region since 2017-01-01. The data files are in CSV and JPEG formats. The daily CSV files contain beaching probability indexes with latitudes, longitudes, total accumulations, and stranding density log scaled radii (for plotting). The yearly CSV files contain daily accumulated BPI for the nine predefined regions. The daily JPEG files are BPI spatial distribution plots for these regions.

Sediment volume accumulated at unpaved dirt road stabilization projects on Culebra Island, Puerto Rico from 2023-09-05 to 2024-05-28 (NCEI Accession 0302262)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
These data provide estimates of sediment accumulation at a number dirt road stabilization projects where Best Management Practices (i.e. sediment retention ponds, check dams, and crossdrains) were implemented to reduce terrigenous runoff and other land-based sources of pollution impacts to the nearshore marine habitats on Culebra Island, Puerto Rico. BMPs were strategically set up in priority watersheds to slow and divert runoff, prevent road scouring, and capture sediments to promote infiltration and reduce total pollutant loads.

Soil logs and grain size analysis from three sonic borings as part of the West Fork of the Hoquiam River Dam Removal and Groundwater Replacement Preliminary Design and Permitting project from 2023-06-19 to 2023-06-29 (NCEI Accession 0302303)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Drilling of the exploratory boreholes and installation of the monitoring well was completed by Anderson Environmental Contracting, LLC (AEC), using sonic drilling methods. An Aspect geologist was on-Site to observe the drilling and characterize the samples under the direction of a Washington State-licensed hydrogeologist (LHG). Aspect logged the boreholes in general accordance with ASTM International (ASTM) Method D2488, Standard Practice for Description and Identification of Soils (Visual-Manual Procedure).

Physical, meteorological, and biological data collected from Saildrone 1066 deployments as part of the TPOS 2019 Mission field study in the Equatorial Pacific Ocean from 2019-06-08 to 2020-01-07 (NCEI Accession 0302394)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This file contains near-real time data from the Saildrone core MetOcean sensors for the Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL) TPOS 2019 Mission ('Mission 3') to the central equatorial Pacific (0, 140W) for Saildrone 1066. These data have not been Quality Control (QC)'d. This was the third of three missions funded by NOAA/Oceanic and Atmospheric Research (OAR) and NOAA/Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) as a pilot study for the Tropical Pacific Observing System (TPOS)-2020 project.
