NOAA GML Surface Ozone network measures the global background concentrations of surface ozone to provide a baseline to judge the enhancements of ozone due to human activities. GML has been measuring surface ozone at several global locations starting at Barrow, Alaska and Mauna Loa, Hawaii in 1973.

This dataset includes collection locations associated with sites sampled within the nearshore waters of Duluth, Wisconsin in Lake Superior. Site information data was collected by a series of sampling platforms including, a Drop Camera, a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV), an Autonomous Operated Vehicle (AUV) and a Ponar sediment sampler. The benthic imagery was collected in 2025 in Lake Superior to characterize the lakebed and provide ground-truthing observation data for predictive substrate and biological community models.

This dataset includes partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide, water temperature, salinity and other variables collected from surface underway observations during the FerryBox ship Blue Horizon Ferris in the Aegean Sea and Mediterranean Sea from 2023-08-02 to 2023-09-05. A flow-through membrane pCO2 sensor is integrated with the POSEIDON FerryBox installed on the Blue Horizon commercial vessel in 2023. The vessel sailed in the South Aegean Sea with the main serviced ports being Piraeus and Heraklion.

This dataset consists of surface time series measurements of partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide and water temperature, salinity and other parameters collected from Mooring PAP-SO (Porcupine Abyssal Plain Sustained Observatory, Buoy Position: 49°N; 16.5°W) in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2013-04-25 to 2016-03-01.

Partial pressure of carbon dioxide, sea surface salinity, water temperature and other parameters collected from surface underway observations during the RRS James Cook JC278; 93382 (EXPOCODE 740H20250530) in the North Atlantic Ocean, Celtic Sea from 2025-05-30 to 2025-06-22. The partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2) in the surface ocean of the northeast Atlantic, analyzed using the General Oceanic equilibrator system onboard the RRS James Cook (Porcupine Abyssal Plain Sustained Observatory site (PAP-SO @49N, 16.5W) and surrounding area, during research cruise JC278 in May/June 2025.

This record describes Acropora globiceps and Isopora crateriformis raw density at the site level as well as colony-level partial mortality, size, and bleaching for each species. Surveys were conducted by SCUBA divers from February 4-26, 2025 and and March 10-27, 2025 in Tutuila, American Samoa by scientists of the Ecosystem Sciences division at the Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center, and this project was funded by the Inflation Reduction Act (NA24NMFX405C0005-T1-01).

This dataset includes surface underway data collected from R/V Nathaniel B. Palmer in the South Pacific Ocean, Drake Passage and Southern Ocean from 2025-02-14 to 2025-05-15. These data include barometric pressure, partial pressure carbon dioxide (pCO2) - water, sea surface salinity, sea surface temperature and barometric pressure. The instruments used to collect these data include Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer and shower head chamber equilibrator for autonomous carbon dioxide (CO2) measurement.

This dataset includes surface underway data collected during USCGC Healy Expeditions in the North Pacific Ocean, Gulf of Alaska, Bering Sea, Chukchi Sea, Beaufort Sea, Arctic Ocean in 2025. The instruments used to collect these data include Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer and shower head chamber equilibrator for autonomous carbon dioxide (CO2) measurement.

This dataset includes data from surveys of coral communities in the American Samoa Archipelago covering the island of Tutuila and the Manu'a Group of islands (Ofu, Olosega, and Tau) in 1995, 1998, and 2002. Data were analysed to investigate changes in coral colony size structure, cover, and density, and to interpret community dynamics. This dataset also includes a systematic inventory of conspicuous marine macro-invertebrates observations.
