Earth System Research Laboratory Carbon Cycle and Greenhouse Gases Group Flask-Air Sample Measurements of CO2, CH4, CO, N2O, H2, SF6 and isotopic ratios at Global and Regional Background Sites, 1967-Present
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The Global Greenhouse Gas Reference Network for the Carbon Cycle and Greenhouse Gases (CCGG) Group is part of NOAA'S Earth System Research Laboratory (ESRL) in Boulder, CO. The Reference Network measures the atmospheric distribution and trends of the three main long-term drivers of climate change, carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and nitrous oxide (N2O), as well as carbon monoxide (CO) which is an important indicator of air pollution.

NOAA Operational Forecast System-Related Guidance Products for Waterborne Pathogens in the Chesapeake Bay
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The presence of Vibrio vulnificus (Vv), a naturally-occurring bacteria that can be harmful to human health, is related to temperature and salinity. Vv forecasts for the Chesapeake Bay based on Operational Forecast Systems (CBOFS) include daily and next day probability forecast guidance on the CBOFS model grid. The occurrence of Vv is predicted by forcing a statistical model with physical variables: temperature and salinity averaged over top 1 meter and over 24 hours centered on 06Z of the current day.

Global Upper Air Radiosonde Binary Universal Form for the Representation of meteorological data (BUFR) archive from ECMWF
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This is a dataset of high resolution upper air soundings collected by European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) in the World Meteorological Organization's (WMO) Binary Universal Form for the Representation of meteorological data (BUFR) format. The parameters and metadata captured at each level contain time displacement, latitude displacement, longitude displacement, geopotential height, pressure, temperature, dew point temperature, wind speed, wind direction, level significance (flags).

International Satellite Cloud Climatology Project (ISCCP) B1 Uniform (B1U) Dataset
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Data are collected from the suite of weather satellites operated by several nations and processed into B1 data by several groups in government agencies, laboratories, and universities. Data is submitted in multiple formats, depending on the satellite and nation submitting the data. In order to alleviate complexity when creating satellite products, NCEI processes the data into the B1 Uniform (B1U) format, which is used in multiple satellite products. Data are included in the ISCCP H-Series collection, but are a intended as a standalone interim product on their own.

International Best Track Archive for Climate Stewardship (IBTrACS) Project, Version 4.01
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The International Best Track Archive for Climate Stewardship (IBTrACS) provides location and intensity for global tropical cyclones. The data span from the 1840s to present, generally providing data at 3-hour intervals. While the best track data is focused on position and intensity (maximum sustained wind speed or minimum central pressure), other parameters are provided by some agencies (e.g., radius of maximum winds, environmental pressure, radius of hurricane force winds, etc.) and are likewise provided in IBTrACS.

Earth System Research Laboratory Halocarbons and Other Atmospheric Trace Gases Old Flask Gas Chromatograph (GC) Measurements
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The Halocarbons and other Atmospheric Trace Species (HATS) group aims to quantify the atmospheric burden, and the distributions and magnitudes of sources and sinks for nitrous oxide and other halogen containing compounds. They utilize numerous types of platforms, including ground-based stations, towers, ships, aircraft, and balloons to accomplish their mission. HATS measures chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) at measurement sites spanning the globe. CFCs are non-toxic, non-flammable chemicals that contain carbon, chlorine, and fluorine atoms.

NOAA Climate Data Record (CDR) of AVHRR Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), Version 5
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This dataset contains gridded daily Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) derived from the NOAA Climate Data Record (CDR) of Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) Surface Reflectance. The data record spans from 1981 to 10 days before the present using data from eight NOAA polar orbiting satellites: NOAA-7, -9, -11, -14, -16, -17, -18 and -19. The data are projected on a 0.05 degree x 0.05 degree global grid. This dataset is one of the Land Surface CDR Version 5 products produced by the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) and the University of Maryland (UMD).
