Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The water depth and temperature data were collected in NW Atlantic (limit-40 W) project from R/V WIECZNO cruise WI86-01 between July 31, 1986 and September 16, 1986. The originator's bathythermograph (XBT) data was submitted on a diskette by Pat Turner, National Marine Fisheries Service, Narragansett, RI. The data have been converted and are now available on line in C116 (XBT) file format of NODC.

WATER TEMPERATURE and other data from J. JONES in the NE Pacific from 1991-10-07 to 1992-06-28 (NCEI Accession 9200154)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The data in this accession were collected in NE Pacific (limit-180) from ship J. JONES between October 10, 1991 and June 28, 1992. The real time data of water temperature at varying depth bathythermograph (XBT) was recorded in stripcharts by the US Navy. Radio logs are forms that contain time, weather latitude/longitude, vessel id, ship id, etc. These are radioed every two hours to some military center. One line per strip chart. Some strip charts have time /date /ship id /latitude /longitude annotated on the strip chart. Thirty nine stripcharts and radio logs were submitted to NODC.

SEDIMENT PROPERTIES and Other Data from FIXED PLATFORM From NE Atlantic (limit-40 W) from 1989-04-03 to 1990-04-09 (NCEI Accession 9200155)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The data in this accession contains files of Joint Global Ocean Flux Study (JGOFS) North Atlantic Bloom Experiment Biogenic Sediment Trap Flux data collected by Dr. S. Honjo of Woods Hole. Data were collected from one mooring at 34N 21W with three traps arrayed at 1km and 2km from the surface and 0.7 km above the sea floor between April 1989 to April 1990. Samples were analyzed to determine concentrations of carbonate, biogenic opal; organic carbon, nitrogen, and hydrogen (from decalcified fraction) and phosphorus.

Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
These data are optical measurements of irradiance and fluorescence collected during continuous long track surface measurements made on the Endeavor 168 Cruise between Reykjavik, Iceland and a 60N station. Data parameters include: position, incident par (400-700 nm) irradiance in μmol/sec/m2, and MLML incubator scalar par (400-700 nm) irradiance in μmol/sec/m2. Calculated rescale fluorescence (680 nm) values were also included; the relative units are equal to pigment amounts measured in mg/m3.
