PARTICULATE ORGANIC CARBON, cloud amount/frequency and other data from COLUMBUS ISELIN in the NW Atlantic, South Atlantic Ocean and SW Atlantic from 1991-11-05 to 1991-11-23 (NCEI Accession 9300014)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Transmissivity and fluorescence data collected as part of AMASSEDS (A Multidisciplinary Amazon Shelf SEDiment Study). The primary objective of AMASSEDS is to understand the sedimentary processes on the continental shelf near the mouth of the Amazon River; the physical oceanography component of AMASSEDS is directed toward understanding circulation and boundary layer processes in this region. Data were collected in conjunction with CTD observations made on the North Brazil shelf aboard the R/V ISELIN (cruise #I9113) from November 5-25, 1991.

Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The Conductivity, Temperature and Depth (CTD) and other data were collected in NW Pacific (limit-180), NE Pacific (limit-180), Greenland Sea and Bering Sea as part of Fisheries-Oceanography Coordinated Investigations (FOCI). Data was collected from NOAA Ship MILLER FREEMAN. The data was collected over a period spanning from April 4, 1992 to September 25, 1992. Data from 197 casts was submitted in one tape by Ms. Leslie Lawrence. Data has been processed and is available in F022-CTD-Hi Resolution file format of NODC.

WATER TEMPERATURE and other data from KAUFFMAN, J. HANCOCK and other platforms from 1990-11-02 to 1991-12-02 (NCEI Accession 9300025)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The bathythermograph data in this accession were collected using six different ships between November 2, 1990 and December 2, 1991. The real time data of water temperature at varying depth bathythermograph (XBT) was recorded by the US Navy. The data was submitted to NODC by Fleet Numerical Oceanography Center, Monterey CA. The XBT data has been digitized and is present in the current NODC data storage system in C116 file format.
