NOAA JPSS Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) Weekly Level-3 Smoothed Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) from NDE
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This Level-3 (L3) Environmental Data Record (EDR) contains Smoothed Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) detected with the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) onboard the Suomi-NPP and NOAA-20 satellites. The algorithm requires smoothed Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) and Brightness Temperatures (TB), which are obtained from a 15-week time series, from which the 7th week is used in the final product.

Microwave Integrated Retrieval System (MIRS) Level-3 Mapped Precipitation and Surface Products
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The Microwave Integrated Retrieval System (MIRS) provides an end-to-end capability of calibrating and characterizing the radiances measured from satellite-based microwave instruments using state of the art algorithm science. The MIRS produces advanced near-real-time operational surface and precipitation products in all-weather and over all-surface conditions using brightness temperatures from multiple microwave instruments.

Infrared Atmospheric Sounding Interferometer (IASI) Level 2 Outgoing Longwave Radiation (OLR)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Infrared Atmospheric Sounding Interferometer (IASI), is a hyperspectral infrared sounder residing on the European Space Agency's (ESA) MetOp series of polar orbiting satellites. The main goal is to provide atmospheric emission spectra to derive temperature and humidity profiles with high vertical resolution and accuracy. It is a Michelson interferometer with spectral coverage between 3.6 and 15.5 micrometers. At nadir, the instrument samples data at intervals of 25 km along and a cross track, each sample having a maximum diameter of about 12 km.

NOAA JPSS Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) Active Fires Environmental Data Record (EDR) from IDPS
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This dataset contains a high quality operational environmental data record (EDR) that contains pinpoint locations of active fires (AF) as identified by an algorithm based on the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) Fires and Thermal Anomalies Collection 4 product, but improved upon and adapted for use by the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer (VIIRS) instrument onboard the Suomi-NPP satellite. The product also contains quality information which provides support information on the quality of fire retrievals.

NOAA JPSS Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) Cloud Top Height (CTH) Environmental Data Record (EDR) from IDPS
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This dataset contains a high quality operational Environmental Data Record (EDR) from the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) instrument onboard the Suomi-NPP satellite and is produced by the NOAA Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS). The retrieval algorithm utilizes VIIRS channel brightness temperatures and reflectances.

NOAA JPSS Advanced Technology Microwave Sounder (ATMS) Remapped to Cross-track Infrared Sounder (CrIS) Sensor Data Record (SDR) from IDPS
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The Advanced Technology Microwave Sounder (ATMS) is a 22 channel microwave sounder on board the Suomi NPP satellite that provides continuous cross-track scanning in a 824 km sun-synchronous orbit. This operational data set provides a sensor data record (SDR) remapped to instrument data from the Cross-track Infrared Sounder (CrIS).

NOAA JPSS Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) Cloud Type and Phase Environmental Data Record (EDR) from NDE
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This dataset contains a cloud type and phase Environmental Data Record (EDR) from the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) onboard Suomi-NPP, NOAA-20 and NOAA-21. The EDR contains cloud type and phase information (liquid water, supercooled water, mixed phase, optically thin ice, optically thick ice, and multilayered ice) for each cloudy pixel. Additionally, this product includes data quality information that provides an assessment of the cloud phase values for on-earth pixels. The algorithm uses VIIRS infrared bands M14 (8.5µm), M15 (11.2µm), and M16 (12.3µm).
