SPLASH Field Study; Snow-level Radar FMCW Moments at Kettle Ponds, Colorado, 2021-09-29 to 2023-09-06 (NCEI Accession 0289123)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
From fall 2021 through summer 2023, NOAA and research partners conducted a field study (SPLASH - the Study of Precipitation, the Lower Atmosphere and Surface for Hydrometeorology). This field study established a state-of-the-art observing network in the East River watershed of the Colorado mountains with a goal of advancing weather and water prediction capabilities in areas with complex terrain. The ultimate goal of this project is improved prediction of weather and water in the Colorado mountains and beyond to inform societal preparedness and response.

Water temperature, salinity, and other parameters collected by CTD from the research vessel Marcus G. Langseth in the north Pacific Ocean off California from 2022-10-25 to 2022-10-28 (NCEI Accession 0289345)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Cruise MGL2212 by research vessel Marcus G. Langseth in October 2022 had the objective to service moorings for the CCE and CORC projects (California Current Ecosystem, Consortium on the Ocean's Role in Climate). To calibrate and validate the mooring data, CTD casts with water samples were collected. The CTD data are reported here. The CTD data have been quality-controlled and adjusted using the water sample data. Additional cruise data files are available through the Rolling Deck to Repository program (R2R, see 'references'). Processed data are in NetCDF and CNV formats.

NCCOS Assessment: Fertilization cross results examining genetic relatedness impact on successful reproduction in three species of reef building corals in the Florida Reef Tract in 2019 and 2022 (NCEI Accession 0289357)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Acropora cervicornis, A. palmata and Orbicella faveolata are important reef-building coral species in the Florida Reef Tract (FRT). These species have experienced alarming declines throughout the FRT, resulting in an increased risk of inbreeding depression and susceptibility to decreased fitness in surviving colonies. Acropora cervicornis, A. palmata and O. faveolata are broadcast spawners, introducing genetic diversity through sexual recombination of gametes during annual spawning events.

Ocean currents from lowered acoustic Doppler current profilers (LADCP), water temperature, salinity, and others from CTD of the Global Ocean Ship-based Hydrographic Investigations Program (GO-SHIP) aboard the research vessel Roger Revelle, cruise RR2205, along WOCE-Lines P02 in the North Pacific from 2022-06-13 to 2022-07-16 (NCEI Accession 0289388)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This dataset contains the Lowered Acoustic Doppler Current Profile (LADCP) estimates of ocean currents and shear, as well as water temperature, salinity and others taken by CTD in a profile to deep waters from the Global Ocean Ship-based Hydrographic Investigations Program (GO-SHIP). A raw and a processed version are given in each dataset, both of which include ancillary data streams from CTD, ship navigation, and shipboard ADCP. The data were collected on R/V R.Revelle for cruise TN390 on World Ocean Circulation Experiment lines A22 from 2022-06-13 to 2022-07-16.
