Effects of food supply on northern bay scallops (Argopecten irradians) reared under two pCO2 conditions from 2021-09-14 to 2021-10-26 (NCEI Accession 0289954)

Data provided by  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

The effects of food supply on bivalves under long-term ocean acidification exposure remains incompletely understood. In this study, juvenile northern bay scallops (50 days post fertilization), Argopecten irradians, that had been reared since 4 hours post-fertilization under one of two ocean acidification conditions (~500-600 or ~750-850 µatm pCO2; ~1.37-1.5 or ~1.0-1.2 Ωaragonite), were subjected to two food levels for 42-days (low food = ~400 and high food = ~1,400 chlorophyll cells mL-1).

Near-global, upper 2000 m estimates of preindustrial and year 2002 ocean pH, aragonite saturation state, carbon dioxide partial pressure, hydrogen ion concentration, and Revelle factor values, and their total changes caused by anthropogenic carbon accumulation in addition to the component of the changes induced by carbonate system nonlinearities (NCEI Accession 0290073)

Data provided by  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

This dataset consists of year 2002 and preindustrial (pi) OA metric values and their uncertainties (u), total OA metric changes (d) due to anthropogenic carbon accumulation to the year 2002 and the component of those changes caused by carbonate system nonlinearities (n), with associated uncertainties provided. Uncertainties were estimated using a 1000 iteration Monte Carlo simulation.

Parameters determining how sea surface temperature impacts the length-at-age 1.5 and recruitment for Pacific cod (Gadus macrocephalus) in the eastern Bering Sea from 1977-01-01 to 2020-12-31 (NCEI Accession 0290126)

Data provided by  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

This dataset contains the samples from the posterior distribution for the parameters that relate Pacific cod (Gadus macrocephalus) length-at-age 1.5 (L1.5) to sea surface temperature, and recruitment to sea surface temperature. Predictions of length-at-age 1.5 are obtained by multiplying the reference level for length-at-age 1.5 by the exponential of the L1.5 parameter in this dataset multiplied by a z-scored SST value.

Data provided by  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

The data included in this package were conducted as part of a Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA) addressing historical pollution at the designated Superfund site. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) evaluated contaminant-related effects from dietary exposure to environmentally relevant concentrations and mixture profiles in juvenile Chinook salmon using two endpoints: growth assessment and disease susceptibility.
