Physical, biological, and chemical data were collected using radiometer, profiling reflectance radiometer, and CTD casts in a world-wide distribution from 13 September 1981 to 16 December 1999. Data were submitted by National Aeronautic and Space Administration; Goddard Space Flight Center as part of the Sea-viewing Wide Field-of-View Sensor/Sensor Intercomparison and Merger for Biological and Interdisciplinary Oceanic Studies (SeaWiFS/SIMBIOS) project.

Physical, current, and other data were collected from CTD and current meters attached to FIXED PLATFORMS in the southeast Bering Sea from 05 May 1995 to 24 February 1998. Data were collected by the Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL) as part as part of the Fisheries-Oceanography Coordinated Investigations (FOCI). CTD parameters include temperature, conductivity, salinity, and fluorescence. Current meter parameters include East/West velocity components (U), North/South velocity component (V), and temperature. Data are not in standard formats but are self documenting.
