This dataset includes high resolution CTD station data and associated water sample files with rosette salinity and oxygen, collected for the CORC/1999 and CORC/2000 projects.

This data contains abundance, length, and life history data of four species of Calanus copepods. The data is a compilation of 3 cruises of the MV OB carried out by the Soviet Antarctic Expedition during the IGY (1955-1958). The surveys paid close attention to obtaining complete data on the populations and distribution of the adult stages of Copepoda. Two types of plankton nets were used; Juday net with mesh size No. 38 and the K100 net with mesh size No. 9 in the cylindrical part, No. 15 in the upper part and No. 23 or 38 in the lower part of the net.

These datasets include counts of ringed seals (Phoca hispida) and other marine mammals made during aerial surveys of ringed seals on fast and pack ice of the central Alaskan Beaufort Sea during 1985-1987 and 1996-1999. The datasets includes counts of seals, by group; designation of whether seals were at holes or along cracks; ice conditions including ice deformation and ice type (fast ice or pack ice); weather conditions; time of observations, and location of observations.

Temperature-Salinity profile and pressure data were collected by using profiling floats in a world-wide distribution from 07 November 1994 to 19 January 2002. Data were submitted by the Marine Environmental Data Service (MEDS) as part of the World Ocean Circulation Experiment (WOCE) project.

This report records the data collected during the cruise of the R.V. Jalanidhi in the South China Sea and the water around the Seribu Islands. The region of the South China Sea that has been covered by the present cruise is identical with the one covered by R.V. Samudera during her February - March cruise of 1971 (INST. MAR. RES., Oceanogr. Cruise Rep. No. 3, 1971) while the area around Seribu Islands is identical with the one covered by the R.V. Samudera during her July - September cruise of 1971 (INST. MAR. RES., Oceanogr. Cruise Rep. No. 5, in press).

Physical profile data and meteorological data were collected from CTD casts in the equatorial Pacific Ocean during cruises to service the TAO/TRITON buoy array. Temperature and salinity profiles were collected from CTD casts from NOAA Ship RONALD H. BROWN and NOAA Ship KA'IMIMOANA from 06 March 2002 to 22 November 2002. Data were collected by Dr. Mike McPhaden of Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL) with support from the Tropical Atmosphere Ocean (TAO) project.

Physical and biological data were collected using fluorometer and CTD casts from the ROGER REVELLE in the Southern Oceans from 12 January 1998 to 03 February 1998. Data were submitted by Dr. Robert O'Malley of the College of Oceanic and Atmospheric Sciences, Oregon State University with support from the Joint Global Ocean Flux Study / Southern Ocean (JGOFS/Southern Ocean) project.
