West Maui (Hawaii) non-directional wave and tide data at three stations in depths less than 11 meters, October 2003-February 2004 (NCEI Accession 0037899)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The U.S. Geological Survey Western Region Coastal and Marine Geology Team deployed the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (New Zealand) three (NIWA) Dobie-A non-directional wave gauges in nearshore areas of western Maui during October 2003 - February 2004 in depths less than 11 m. It also provides tidal heights, although they are not linked to a shore-based datum. These data were collected to provide research-grade scientific baseline measurements and for nearshore circulation studies. Data are in ASCII format with included metadata as .doc and .txt files.

Coastal Change Analysis Program (C-CAP) for Alabama, 1996-2005-era land cover change analysis (NCEI Accession 0038518)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This data set contains the 1996-era and 2005-era classifications for Alabama, a subset of zone 46, and can be used to analyze change. This imagery was collected as part of the Multi-Resolution Land Characteristics program in a multi-agency effort to provide baseline multi-scale environmental characteristics and to monitor environmental change. This data set utilized 72 full or partial Landsat 5 and 7 scenes which were analyzed according to the Coastal Change Analysis Program (C-CAP) protocol to determine land cover.

Deep profiles of temperature, salinity, oxygen saturation, and fluorescence from CTD casts from NOAA Ship Hi'ialakai, NOAA Ship Townsend Cromwell, and NOAA Ship Oscar Elton Sette cruises in the Northwest Hawaiian Islands and Guam 1999-2006 (NCEI Accession 0038588)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center, part of the National Marine Fisheries Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), conducted cruises in the Northwest Hawaiian Islands and Guam on NOAA Ship Hi'ialakai, NOAA Ship Townsend Cromwell, and NOAA Ship Oscar Elton Sette during 1999-2006. 14 select cruises are included in this batch. Finalized data include the profiles of temperature, salinity, oxygen saturation, and fluorescence. Most hydrocast stations are near atolls and islands. These are referred to as deep profiles and mostly reach to 500 m.
