This dataset contains CTD data including temperature, salinity, and other measurements, from numerous vessels including ALBATROSS IV (NOAA ship; call sign WMVF; built 1962; IMO7338690), DELAWARE II (NOAA ship; call sign WZ2031; built 1968; IMO7629946) and other platforms in the North Atlantic from 1998 to 2007. These data were submitted by NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service Northeast Fisheries Center.

The U.S. West Coast has experienced a hypoxic event every year since 2002. This low dissolved oxygen condition clearly impacts the organisms living there, but it is unclear to what extent. The IPHC is collecting these data to try and understand how these adverse conditions are affecting fish stocks in the area, as well as contribute to the overall understanding of oceanographic features as they impact fish populations.

This data set utilized 47 full or partial Landsat 5 and 7 scenes which were analyzed according to the Coastal Change Analysis Program (C-CAP) protocol to determine land cover.

This data set is a change analysis of 1996-era C-CAP land cover and 2001-era C-CAP land cover for the State of Michigan, in the Great Lakes Region of the U.S. This product contains the land cover information for both dates and can be recoded to show changed areas, unchanged areas, areas of gain for a particular land cover class, and areas of loss.

Physical oceanographic data were collected from NOAA Ship RAINIER from the Colvos Passage in the Puget Sound from 09 April 2008 to 30 April 2008. Data were collected from CTD casts and parameters include temperature and salinity profiles. Data are self documenting and are in plain ASCII text.
