Understanding coral reef fish characteristics using videogrammetry in Hanauma and Maunalua Bays, Oahu, Hawaii during 2007 (NCEI Accession 0042353)

Data provided by  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

Videogrammetry data taken in 2007 are used for a study of fish within coral reef ecosystems. We attempted to generate or find information on abundance, growth, sex-specific size-at maturity, length-specific sex ratios, size-fecundity relationships, age structure, and forces of mortality for three exploited reef fishes (Centropyge potteri, Dascyllus albisella, and Parupeneus multifasciatus).

Coastal Cover Change Analysis Program (C-CAP) Great Lakes 1996-era and 2001-era land cover change analysis (NCEI Accession 0042437)

Data provided by  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

This data set contains the 1996-era and 2001-era classifications of Great lakes and can be used to analyze change. This imagery was collected as part of the Multi-Resolution Land Characteristics program in a multi-agency effort to provide baseline multi-scale environmental characteristics and to monitor environmental change. This data set utilized 35 (1996-era) and 74 (2001-era) full or partial Landsat 5 and 7 scenes which were analyzed according to the Coastal Change Analysis Program (C-CAP) protocol to determine land cover.

Coastal Change Analysis Program (C-CAP) zone 37 and zone 46 1995 - 2005-era land cover change analysis (NCEI Accession 0042593)

Data provided by  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

This data set contains the 1995 - 2005-era classifications of US Gulf Coast, zone 37 and zone 46 and can be used to analyze change. This imagery was collected as part of the Multi-Resolution Land Characteristics program in a multi-agency effort to provide baseline multi-scale environmental characteristics and to monitor environmental change. The data set utilized 42 (zone 37) and 72 (zone 46) full or partial Landsat 5 and 7 scenes which were analyzed according to the Coastal Change Analysis Program (C-CAP) protocol to determine land cover.

Species composition, diversity, and biomass in marine habitats and sub-habitats around offshore islets in the main Hawaiian islands, 2007-04-02 to 2007-09-20 (NCEI Accession 0042684)

Data provided by  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

The marine algae, invertebrate and fish communities were surveyed at ten islet or offshore island sites in the Main Hawaiian Islands in the vicinity of Lanai, (Puu Pehe and Poo Poo Islets), Maui (Kaemi and Hulu Islets and the outer rim of Molokini), off Kaulapapa National Historic Park on Molokai (Mokapu, Okala and Namoku Islets) and Oahu (Kaohikaipu Islet and outside Kapapa Island) in 2007.
