The CoOP RISE program collected CTD and water chemistry (macronutrients, chlorophyll) data during four cruises from 2004-2006 off the Oregon and Washington coast, centered on the Columbia River. CTD data are submitted separately to NODC by PI Barbara Hickey. The data included here are from discrete water samples collected by CTD Niskin bottle on R/V Wecoma. Data are in plain ASCII text.

Current measurements from SVP and APEX drifters around the Hawaiian Islands deployed by the NOAA Coral Reef Ecosystems Division (CRED), 2001-2006 (NCEI Accession 0049436)

This data collection includes data from multiple SVP and APEX drifters deployed in the region around the Hawaiian Islands to assess ocean currents and sea surface temperature. SVP and APEX drifter data files contain drifter ids, year, month, day, hour, minute, second, GPS latitude and longitude. Drifter data was collected hourly. All dates and times are UTC.
The data files (.dbf) do not include temperature measurements.

Size-fractioned zooplankton biomass data sampled during the Institute of Marine Research Norwegian Sea survey from 1995 to 2005 (NCEI Accession 0049894)

The data were downloaded from the COPEPOD data base website. The dataset contains zooplankton data from the Institute of Marine Research (Bergen Norway) Norwegian Sea survey in April-June during the years 1995 to 2005. It is total biomass and also biomass of size fractions 180 um, 1000 um and 2000 um microns (from the latter we also pick our krill, shrimp and small fishes). The samples are taken by WP2 nets from 200-0 m.
