Temperature profile and current meter data were collected using mooring and CTD casts in the Coastal Waters of New Jersey in the Atlantic Ocean. Data were collected from 11 March 1989 to 18 June 1989.

The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) in support of the Ballistic Missile Defense Organization (BMDO) sponsored a marine biological survey at Wake Atoll, located approximately 2,100 miles west of Honolulu at 19 18' North Latitude and 166 35' East Longitude. On behalf of the SMDC, biologists from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) and the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) were invited to Wake Atoll in June 1998.

This report summarizes the results of the first United States Army Kwajalein Atoll (USAKA) Activities in the Republic of the Marshall Islands (UES) inventory of endangered species and wildlife resources at USAKA, which was conducted in 1996. The 1996 inventory report is to be used as the official record of species and habitats of concern at USAKA until the results of the next inventory (1998) are reported and incorporated into the UES pursuant to the next applicable annual review. For the National Oceanographic Data Center, interest in the report focuses on the marine element.
