Oceanographic and meteorological data from various meteorological sensors and bottle/rosette/net taken from several Russian vessels in Caspian, Black and Azov Seas from 18 April, 1952 to 7 December, 2012 (NCEI Accession 0117731)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Cruises took place from 18 April 1952 to 7 December 2012 in Caspian, Black and Azov Seas. Various vessels were used to collect data in the open sea. Data collection activities were also carried out in the coastal zone from small boats. Oceanographic data were used for weather forecasts and monitoring the state of the biological resources of Caspian, Black and Azov Seas.

Temperature and salinity profiles from CTD casts in Coos Bay, Oregon and Grays Harbor, Washington, taken from charter/fishing boats as part of the Pacific Northwest Coastal Ecosystem Regional Study (PNCERS) from 1998-03-24 to 1998-12-06 (NCEI Accession 0117837)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This data set was designed to address the physical variability in Pacific Northwest estuaries, the relationship between estuarine processes and the variability in the coastal ocean, and, in concert with fisheries components of Pacific Northwest Coastal Ecosystem Regional Study (PNCERS) - the sources of variability in year-class strength in several important marine species.

Biological, chemical, and physical data from the Phytoplankton Monitoring Network from 2001-09-13 to 2013-03-07 (NCEI Accession 0117942)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The Phytoplankton Monitoring Network (PMN) is a part of the National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science (NCCOS). The PMN was created as an outreach program to connect volunteers and professional scientists in the monitoring of marine phytoplankton and harmful algal blooms (HABs). NOAA staff train volunteers on sampling techniques and identification methods for marine phytoplankton. There are over 50 genera, including 10 potentially toxin producing genera, of dinoflagellates and diatoms on the volunteers watch list.

Dissolved oxygen, temperature, salinity, and other variables measured from profile observations using CTD and other instruments from NOAA Ship Ronald H. Brown in the East Coast of the United States and Gulf of Mexico during the second Gulf of Mexico and East Coast Carbon (GOMECC-2) Cruise from 2012-07-24 to 2012-08-13 (NCEI Accession 0117943)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The second Gulf of Mexico and East Coast Carbon (GOMECC-2) Cruise on board NOAA Ship Ronald H. Brown from Miami, took place in the Gulf of Mexico and then along the East US coast to Boston. The effort was in support of the coastal monitoring and research objectives of the NOAA Ocean Acidification Program (OAP). The cruise was designed to obtain a snapshot of key carbon, physical, and biogeochemical parameters as they relate to ocean acidification (OA) in the coastal realm.
