This set of CTD profiles are from 10 cruises. These cruises were part of the NOAA sponsored program entitled *Olympic Region Harmful Algal Blooms* (ORHAB). The aim of the program is to better understanding dynamics of disruptive Harmful Algal Bloom events due to outbreaks of marine biotoxins (Paralytic Shellfish Poison, PSP) and domoic acid contamination of razor clams.

This dataset includes SeaBird MicroCat-37 data that was collected on four moorings deployed in the Hudson Strait, Canada from August 2008 to September 2009. Mooring A was located on the south side of the Strait. Moorings E, F, and G were all close together and on the north side of the Strait. Mooring E was located near the center, Mooring G was near the north shore, and Mooring F was in between Mooring E and G. Mooring A had four MicroCATs at depths of 25, 45, 100, and 160 meters. Mooring E had two MicroCATs at depths of 40 and 120 meters.

The Submarine Arctic Science Program, SCICEX, is a federal interagency collaboration among the operational Navy, research agencies, and the marine research community to use nuclear-powered submarines for scientific studies of the Arctic Ocean. Unlike surface ships, submarines have the unique ability to operate and take measurements regardless of sea ice cover, weather conditions, and time of year. This allows for a broad and comprehensive investigation of an entire ocean basin.

This dataset contains data collected by electronic tags (Pop-up Satellite Archival Transmitting) attached to Salvelinus malma (Dolly Varden trout) in the Wulik River, Alaska, in 2012 and 2013. Dolly Varden make up an important component of subsistence fisheries in northern Alaskan communities. While it is known that Dolly Varden may be broadly distributed throughout a wide range in the Pacific Ocean during the summer, their distribution in the Chukchi Sea is unknown.

This data set was collected as part of the Joint Monitoring Program during seismic activities in the Chukchi Sea. The 2006 data was collected by ship and aircraft as part of the Joint Monitoring Program during seismic activities in the Chukchi Sea in summer and fall of 2006. The 2007 data was collected by ship as part of the Marine Mammal Monitoring and Mitigation During Open Water Seismic Exploration program in summer and fall of 2007.

This dataset contains vessel- and aircraft-based mammal sightings data and associated environmental data collected in the Chukchi and Beaufort seas during the open water season 2006-2010.

This data set contains vessel- and aircraft-based marine mammal surveys in the Chukchi Sea collected from 1989 to 1991. The aerial marine mammal surveys were conducted by EBASCO to determine the response of walrus to drilling operations in the northern Chukchi Sea at the Crackerjack, Burger and Popcorn prospects between June 29 and October 11, 1990 and at the Crackerjack and Diamond prospects between July 29 and October 8, 1991. The vessel-based marine mammal observations data were collected in the Chukchi Sea in 1989 - 1990.

The 2013 PIRATA Northeast Extension (PNE) and Aerosols and Ocean Science Expedition (AEROSE) Cruise RB-13-01 was designed to: (1) collect a suite of oceanographic and meteorological observations in the northeast Tropical Atlantic; (2) recover and redeploy the four moorings that belong to the Northeast Extension of the PIRATA array; (3) recover and redeploy the TFlex mooring near 20N, 38W; (4) to perform a sensor swap for the PIRATA mooring at 0ºN, 23ºW; and (5) to recover and redeploy two hydrophone moorings as well as deploy an additional hydrophone mooring.

The November - December 2013 PIRATA (Prediction and Research Moored Array in the Tropical Atlantic) Northeast Extension (PNE) and Aerosols and Ocean Science Expedition (AEROSE) cruise RB-13-06 was designed to (1) Collect oceanographic and meteorological observations in the northeastern tropical Atlantic, (2) Recover and redeploy the PIRATA Northeast Extensions’ four Autonomous Temperature Line Acquisition (ATLAS) moorings, and (3) Recover and redeploy the TFlex mooring located near the 20°N, 38°W ATLAS mooring.
