DMA Antarctic Gravity Data
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The gravity station data (65,164 records) were gathered by various governmental organizations (and academia) using a variety of methods. The data base was received in August, 1993. Principal gravity parameters include Free-air Anomalies and Simple Bouguer Anomalies (no terrain correction applied). The observed gravity values are referenced to the International Gravity Standardization Net 1971 (IGSN 71). The gravity anomaly computation uses the Geodetic Reference System 1967 (GRS 67) theoretical gravity formula. The data are randomly distributed south of 50 degrees South.

ANWR and Alaska Peninsula Gravity Data
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The gravity station data (1252 records) were compiled by the U.S. Geological Survey and the State of Alaska Division of Geological & Geophysical Surveys. This data base was received in August, 1984. Principal gravity parameters include Free-air Anomalies and Simple Bouguer Anomalies (no terrain correction applied) for the Alaska Peninsula. The observed gravity values are referenced to the International Gravity Standardization Net 1971 (IGSN 71). The gravity anomaly computation uses the Geodetic Reference System 1967 (GRS 67) theoretical gravity formula.

Bolivia Altiplano and Cordillera Occidental Data
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The gravity station data (59,933 records) were compiled by various organizations. This data base was received in June, 1993. Principal gravity parameters include Free-air Anomalies and Simple Bouguer Anomalies (no terrain correction applied). The following assumptions have been made: the observed gravity values are referenced to the International Gravity Standardization Net 1971 (IGSN 71); the gravity anomaly computation uses the Geodetic Reference System 1967 (GRS 67) theoretical gravity formula.

Cadiz, California Gravity Data
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The gravity station data (32 records) were gathered by Mr. Seth I. Gutman for AridTech Inc., Denver, Colorado using a Worden Prospector gravity meter. This data base was received in June 1985. Principal gravity parameters include Free-air Anomalies and Simple Bouguer Anomalies (no terrain correction applied). The observed gravity values are referenced to the International Gravity Standardization Net 1971 (IGSN 71). The gravity anomaly computation uses the Geodetic Reference System 1967 (GRS 67) theoretical gravity formula.

Gravity Data for California and Southern Nevada
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The gravity data (88,514 records) were compiled largely from a state-wide regional gravity study program organized by the California Division of Mines and Geology in cooperation with the U.S. Geological Survey in Menlo Park, California. The data base was received in February 1983. Principal gravity parameters include Free-air Anomalies and Simple Bouguer Anomalies (no terrain correction applied). The observed gravity values are referenced to the International Gravity Standardization Net 1971 (IGSN 71).

Gravity Data For Colombia 1997
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The gravity station data (9,050 records), were observed and processed by the Instituto Geografico Agustin Codazzi(IGAC), in Colombia from 1958 to 1996. This data base was received in April, 1997. Principal gravity parameters include Free-air anomalies and both Simple and Complete Bouguer anomalies. The gravity anomaly values were computed using the GRS80 ellipsoid.

DMA Reference Base Station Network Data
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The data (15,904 records documenting 9,090 worldwide gravity base stations) were gathered by various governmental organizations (and academia) using a variety of methods. This data base was received in August 1993. Principal gravity parameters include station id and observed gravity. The observed gravity values are referenced to the International Gravity Standardization Net 1971 (IGSN 71) and the gravity anomalies are computed using the World Geodetic System 1984 (WGS 84) theoretical gravity formula. The spatial resolution of the data is randomly distributed throughout the world.

Gravity Data for Egypt
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The gravity station data (71 records) were gathered by various governmental organizations (and academia) using a variety of methods. This data base was received in March 1989. Principal gravity parameters include Free-air Anomalies and Simple Bouguer Anomalies (no terrain correction applied). The observed gravity values are referenced to the International Gravity Standardization Net 1971 (IGSN 71) and the gravity anomaly computation uses the Geodetic Reference System 1967 (GRS 67) theoretical gravity formula.
