Water quality data was collected by the United States Army Corp of Engineers at numerous locations along the shore of Lake Ponchartrain, Louisiana during the month of September 2019. The samples were collected repeatedly at 8 locations around the lake. The parameters collected include chlorophyll a (uncorrected), chlorophyll b, chlorophyll c1 + c2, phycocyanin, microcystin, water temperature, dissolved oxygen, dissolved oxygen percent saturation, pH, salinity, and specific conductance. These data were used to monitor the water quality of commonly used beaches and swimming areas.

This dataset consists of discrete profile measurements of dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity (TA), water temperature, salinity, nutrients and dissolved oxygen during the CCGS Vector Water Properties Survey cruise 2014-50 (EXPOCODE 18VT20141027) in the Strait of Georgia, Juan de Fuca Strait of the North American Pacific coast from 2014-10-27 to 2014-10-30. The samples were taken from rosette casts with 10L Niskin bottles and analysed at the Institute of Ocean Sciences. Discrete samples of dissolved oxygen were also collected and analysed onboard the vessel.

This dataset includes surface underway data collected from R/V Nathaniel B. Palmer in the Pacific Ocean, South Atlantic Ocean and Southern Ocean from 2020-01-28 to 2021-01-08. These data include barometric pressure, partial pressure carbon dioxide (pCO2) - water, sea surface salinity, sea surface temperature and barometric pressure. The instruments used to collect these data include Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer and shower head chamber equilibrator for autonomous carbon dioxide (CO2) measurement.

This dataset includes discrete, profile measurements of dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity, water temperature and salinity, measured during the Canadian Coast Guard Ship Amundsen Fisheries and Oceans Canada ArcticNET (NSERC) cruise AN1103 (EXPOCODE 18DL20111006) in the Eastern Canadian Arctic, Baffin Bay, Northwestern Passages from 2011-10-06 to 2011-10-21.

This dataset contains the bulk density and pore water, sediment texture and composition data from sediment cores collected aboard R/V Weatherbird II cruises WB-0812 and WB-0813 in the northern Gulf of Mexico (nGoM) from 2012-08-14 to 2013-08-21. These data were generated for selected core sub-samples at 2mm sampling intervals for “surficial unit” and 5mm sampling resolution intervals to the base of cores. For the bulk density and pore water data, sediment cores were collected on board the R/V Weatherbird II cruise WB-0812 in the nGoM from 2012-08-14 to 2012-08-16.

This dataset contains color underwater images obtained with a stereoscopic HD camera system. The objective was to collect and process 3D imagery data in a variety of new environments with different logistical and operational considerations.

This dataset contains water temperature, salinity, and velocity collected by CTD, ADCP, and current meters from OSNAP East moorings CF1 - CF7 in the Irminger Sea. OSNAP (Overturning in the Subpolar North Atlantic Program) is an NSF funded project to measure the full depth, basin-wide overturning circulation and associated transport of heat and freshwater in the Subpolar North Atlantic (www.o-snap.org).

This dataset contains data from sediment cores collected aboard R/V Weatherbird cruise WB-0814 in the northern Gulf of Mexico from 2014-08-14 to 2014-08-28. It includes gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) characterization, bulk density/porewater, short-lived radioisotope (SLRad), sediment core photographs, and Sediment texture and composition data. Marine sediment core samples were collected with multiple corers and were sectioned at specific intervals, and freeze-dried.
