This dataset includes chemical data from discrete samples and physical data from a profiling CTD collected during the USCGC Healy cruise HLY1801 (EXPOCODE 33HQ20180807) in the Bering Sea, Chukchi Sea and Beaufort Sea along transect lines in the Distributed Biological Observatory (DBO) from 2018-08-07 to 2018-08-24. Data was collected along transect lines in the Distributed Biological Observatory (DBO) areas DB01, 03, 04, and 05.

Friends of Reef Guam is a community monitoring project that trains members as citizen scientists to build local capacity in identification of species. From February 2013 through October 2019, members gathered benthic and macroinvertebrate cover in specific areas identified on Guam. During benthic surveys, members identified corals, algae, seagrass, sponges and macroinvertebrates. Identification of macroinvertebrates was collected by members as well through species, including; echinoderms, mollusks, and crustaceans. Data is supported by photos from the sites.

In order to accurately assess the initial affects of bleaching events, and to assess coral condition during and after bleaching events, the Florida Keys BleachWatch program coordinates a large network of trained observers to provide regular reports of actual coral conditions on the reefs.

This dataset contains water temperature, salinity, sediment grain size and element analysis taken by CTD and bottom sampler from the research vessel Xiang Yang Hong 10 in the North Pacific. The research objective of this voyage was to understand the paleoceanographic sedimentary records of the region, and then to study the role of the region in the global climate change through the investigation of sediments and suspended particles in the southern Mariana Trench, the deepest sea area in the world. This dataset consists of digital still images along coral reef transect lines, from which quantitative benthic data are derived from select images via PhotoGrid, a software package that analyzes random points on digital still images of coral reefs and substrate. The benthic data include substrate type and species identification. A total of 7 transects of the Hawaii Coral Reef Assessment and Monitoring Program (CRAMP) took place 2016-01-26 to 2016-08-24 at 4 sites on Oahu and Kauai. Most sites consist of two transects along different isobaths-- shallow (~2-4m) and deep (~7-13m) lines.
