This dataset contains oceanographic data collected from NOAA Ship OKEANOS EXPLORER in the Gulf of Mexico from 2020-03-03 to 2020-03-08. Data acquisition from shipboard sensors includes navigational data, meteorological data (depth, relative humidity, temperature, wind, wind speed), and oceanographic data (bathythermograph, sound velocity probe, thermosalinograph, winch vehicles). Additional data include Profile Data (ASVP and XBT).

This dataset contains reports for cruises ARA07B and ARA08B. During these cruises, water temperature, salinity, and others were taken by CTD and Niskin bottles from the research vessel Araon in the Bering and Chukchi Seas. The aim of these cruises were to investigate the structure and processes in the water column and subsurface (sediment) around the Bering/Chukchi/Beaufort/East Siberian Seas in rapid transition. These are US State Department MSR cruises U2017-014 and U2016-012. Cruise ARA07B report is archived separately in AIP 0222210 (U2015-014).

This dataset contains multi-beam seafloor topographic and magnetic survey data from the research vessel Xiangyanghong 01 in the North Pacific Ocean near Mariana trench. In 2017, the research vessel XIANGYANGHONG 01 conducted a seafloor topographic and magnetic survey near the Mariana Trench in the Western Pacific Ocean, in order to study the relationship between the subduction of the Pacific Plate and the changes of seafloor topographic and geomagnetic characteristics.

This data set contains landscape mosaic images, created as a product for the NOAA Coral Reef Conservation Program’s (CRCP) National Coral Reef Monitoring Program (NCRMP). Orthorectified mosaic images of six reef plots were captured of a coral reef near Salt River in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. Each reef plot is made up of a 10m x 10m transect area (100 m2). Landscape mosaics are a composite of many underwater images stitched together.

This dataset consists of Discrete profile measurements of partial pressure of CO2 (pCO2), water temperature, salinity and oxygen obtained during the profiling crawler (PRAWLER) deployment from 2017-07-12 to 2017-09-17 in the Washington coastal area, North Pacific Ocean. The profiling crawler or PRAWLER was used as a testing platform to evaluate the prototype Aanderaa pCO2 optode (model #4797, uncertainty of 35-72 uatm) off the Washington coast. The PRAWLER was used in fixed-depth mode instead of free-falling mode during this deployment.

This dataset contains water temperature, sediments, nutrients, oxygen, pH, pCO2, plankton, and other variables taken by CTD, Niskin bottles, and bottom samples from research vessels Xiangyanghong 6 and Xiangyanghong 19 in the North Pacific Ocean. These projects collect marine sediment sample and suspended matter and other variables at the west of Western Mariana Submarine Ridge. The aim of the projects was to determine the sediment source of the marine sediment and palaeoenvironment evolution and air-sea interactions.

This dataset contains cruise report describing multi-beam echo-sounding and sediment collection from research vessel Alis in the South Pacific Ocean. The oceanographic campaign SAMOA-SPT on board R/V Alis (IRD research vessel of the IRD, Nouméa, New Caledonia) has allowed the recognition of the acoustic (multibeam bathymetry and imagery), seismic (high resolution seismic) and sedimentary (interface and Kullenberg piston coring) characteristics of the backwash-related submarine tsunami and storm (tropical cyclone) deposits in the South Pacific – Tutuila island (American Samoa).

This dataset contains cruise report summarizing visual survey of fish, invertebrate, and macroalgal biotas at Rose Atoll. These were surveyed using underwater transects at 8 sites over two days in August 2012, and observations compared with surveys undertaken using similar Reef Life Survey methodology across the Pacific. The reef biotas showed a high level of similarity to reef biotas within the central South Pacific region, particularly Cook Islands, Samoa, and Niue. This is US State Department MSR cruise U2012-026.
