This data set contains landscape mosaic images, created as a product for the NOAA Coral Reef Conservation Program’s (CRCP) National Coral Reef Monitoring Program (NCRMP). Orthorectified mosaic images of six reef plots were captured of Cheeca Rocks reef in the Florida Keys. Each reef plot is made up of a 10m x 10m transect area (100 m2). Landscape mosaics are a composite of many underwater images stitched together. These mosaics have the clarity and pixel size of the individual pictures but collectively produce a “landscape view” of the coral reef community within each transect.

This dataset includes denitrification rates across a typical northern Gulf of Mexico salt marsh landscape that included a natural marsh, a tidal creek, and a 21-year-old restored salt marsh. Denitrification capacity, measured with the isotope pairing technique on a membrane inlet mass spectrometer, was comparable across the sites despite significant differences in above and below ground characteristics. Total extractable ammonium concentrations and sediment carbon content were higher at the natural marsh compared to the restored marsh.

This data set contains color underwater screen-grab images and videos obtained with an ONMS Drop Camera - GoPro Hero Silver 3+ drop-camera system, which was built specifically for this mission. The objective was to identify potential shipwreck sites from the mapping data collected, and image those sites using the side scan sonar and drop camera systems. The data set also includes various "topside" still images and videos obtained by the Mission team.

This dataset includes continuous sea surface measurements of pCO2, temperature, salinity and atmospheric pressure data during the R/V Marion Dufresne OISO-30 cruise (EXPOCODE 35MV20200106) in Indian Ocean from 2020-01-06 to 2020-02-01. The OISO program (Océan Indien Service d'Observations), initiated in 1998, collects measurements of pCO2 and associated parameters (T, S, DIC, TALK, nutrients, Chl-a, 13C) along the repeated lines of R.V. Marion-Dufresne in the South-Western Indian and Southern Oceans; this coverage is a complement of the international CO2 observing system (IOCCP).

This dataset includes surface underway, chemical, meteorological and physical data collected from MN Colibri Ships of Opportunity (SOOP) lines in the Mediterranean Sea and North Atlantic Ocean from 2020-11-04 to 2020-12-05. These data include barometric pressure, partial pressure of carbon dioxide - atmosphere, partial pressure of carbon dioxide - water, sea surface salinity and temperature. The instruments used to collect these data include Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer.

This dataset contains visual observations of sei whale abundance from research vessel Yushin-Maru No.3 in the North Pacific Ocean. It provides information for the proposed future in-depth assessment of sei whales in terms of both abundance and stock structure. This is US State Department MSR cruise U2014-038. This dataset contains visual sighting whale survey from research vessels Yushin-Maru and Yushin-Maru No.2 in the North Pacific Ocean. A systematic large-scale vessel-based sighting survey was conducted in 2014 by Japan to examine the distribution and abundance of large whales in the western North Pacific.
