The University of Washington maintained 9 current meter moorings, QC801 through QC8010 (QC806 was not deployed) in and around Quinault Canyon. Current meters were all Aanderaa (AA) instruments which measured speed, direction and temperature. The AA data was sampled in 20 minute intervals. Speed and direction were measured and rotated to true North. Data was first edited for spurious values, then speed and direction were independently filtered with a 5 point binomial filter spanning approximately 1.5 hours and resolved into u and v components.

Current meters were a mix of Aanderaa (AA) and Vector Measuring Current Meter (VMCM) instruments. The AA meters measured speed, direction and temperature with a sample interval of 10 minutes. Speed and direction were independently filtered with a 9 point binomial filter spanning approximately 1.5 hours then resolved into u and v components.

Archipelago, Bering Strait, Chukchi Sea, East Siberian Sea and Arctic Ocean from 2005-07-20 to 2005-08-17. These data include Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide - water, sea surface salinity and sea surface temperature. The instruments used to collect these data include Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer and Shower head chamber equilibrator for autonomous carbon dioxide (CO2) measurement.

Well log data from the U.S. outer continental shelf commercial wells, and continental offshore stratigraphic test (cost) wells. Product Description: geophysical measurements of lithologic properties of the strata derived from a deep well. Data are available offline on 16-mm microfilm. Some data and reports are also available online in PDF form. Images of data from microfilm may also be available for some sets offlline as TIFF images.

Digital downhole wire-line logging data from the Deep Sea Drilling Project (DSDP) previously available from NGDC on CD-ROM are now available from the Borehole Research Group of the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory online. DSDP logs were generated from 1967-1983, DSDP logs were produced under contract to the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Science Operator for the DSDP. Parameters measured may include conductivity, bulk density, porosity, resistivity, grain density, sonic ratio, and other parameters. Parameters vary from hole to hole and cruise to cruise.
