NOAA Coral Reef Watch Daily (v3.1) Global 5km Satellite Sea Surface Temperature (CoralTemp). CoralTemp is derived from three different but related 5km daily gap-free SST data sets and provides an internally consistent SST product that stretches from 1985 to present: Operational Sea Surface Temperature and Sea Ice Analysis (OSTIA) Sea Surface Temperature Reanalysis (1985-2002), Geo-Polar Blended Night-only Sea Surface Temperature Reanalysis (2002-2016), Geo-Polar Blended Night-only Sea Surface Temperature Near Real-Time (2017 to present).

a daily gap-free map of the foundation sea surface temperature at 0.05º spatial resolution. Note 2002-2016 is a reanalysis. 2017-present is near real-time processing.

The altimetry data are from RADS (http://rads.tudelft.nl/rads/rads.shtml), the Radar Altimetry Database System, first developed at Delft University of Technology, now also at the NOAA and the European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT). The RADS data for each mission is updated with state of the art corrections for tides, atmospheric path delay, etc.
