Data for Filtering Organized 3D Point Clouds for Bin Picking Applications

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

Contains scans of a bin filled with different parts ( screws, nuts, rods, spheres, sprockets). For each part type, RGB image and organized 3D point cloud obtained with structured light sensor are provided. In addition, unorganized 3D point cloud representing an empty bin and a small Matlab script to read the files is also provided. 3D data contain a lot of outliers and the data were used to demonstrate a new filtering technique.

Using Open-Path Dual-Comb Spectroscopy to Monitor Methane Emissions from Simulated Grazing Cattle

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

Data published in the paper "Using Open-Path Dual-Comb Spectroscopy to Monitor Methane Emissions from Simulated Grazing Cattle". A controlled methane release experiment was performed to determine if dual comb spectroscopy (DCS) can detect methane concentration enhancements above the atmospheric background produced by a typical herd of beef cattle in an extensive grazing system. Open-path DCS was used to measure downwind and upwind methane concentrations from ten point-sources of methane simulating cattle.

Code for "An atomic boson sampler"

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

This package is a collection of scripts and methods for analyzing data from the Kaufman lab's experiment for boson sampling using atoms, tunneling in their optical lattice. Please read the paper [arXiv:2307.06936](https://doi.org/10.48550/arXiv.2307.06936) for context. The data included in the subdirectory ``Boson sampling data/`` consists of shots of the experiment, where the atoms are prepared in a particular pattern, then the atoms are allowed to tunnel, then the atom number parity is measured on each site. From this data, we estim

Code for qDIC-based Strain Localization Analysis with Wavelets (Q-SLAW)

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

This dataset is an archival version of an algorithm implementation for strain localization analysis in digital image correlation data. The original application is to detect the occurrence of localization (i.e., collective buckling, hotspots, etc.) in uniaxial stress testing of polymer foams instrumented with 2D digital image correlation. The full-field strain maps are processed with a Marr wavelet and regions of excess strain are identified.

Smartphone Data for Development of Indoor Localization Apps

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

The PerfLoc Prize Competition (https://perfloc.nist.gov) was developed by NIST during 2015-2017 and was run during 2017-2018. The Competition was concluded with a single winner on May 16, 2018. However, NIST believes the data collected for the PerfLoc Competition is still of value to the R&D community, because there is still room to develop better signal processing and data fusion algorithms that would fuse various types of smartphone data collected in this project to develop indoor localization apps with higher localization accuracy.

Leakage Current Pathways in Josephson Arbitrary Waveform Synthesizer StandardsData shown in CPEM 2024 abstract

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

Dataset for multiple publishable figures in the paper entitled "Leakage Current Pathways in Josephson Arbitrary Waveform Synthesizer Standards"to be submitted to CPEM 2024The voltage errors associated with leakage currents in Josephson arbitrary waveform synthesizer (JAWS) systems are significant contributors to the overall system accuracy. This paper describes discrepancies in output voltage between two different circuit halves on a single JAWS chip and shows that this discrepancy is dominated by ac leakage currents through the stray capacitance in the compensation leads.

Code to accompany "Superancillary Equations for the Multiparameter Equations of State in REFPROP 10.0"

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

This record includes the C++ files used to generate superancillary equations (sets of Chebyshev expansions for the co-existing thermodynamic data) for the multiparameter EOS included in NIST REFPROP 10.0. The calculations in C++ are done in extended precision and the Chebyshev expansions are stored in double precision. The python scripts are used to post-process the generated sets of Chebyshev expansions.

NIST Fingerprint Image Quality 2

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

NIST Fingerprint Image Quality (NFIQ) 2 is open source software that links image quality of optical and ink 500 PPI fingerprints to operational recognition performance. This allows quality values to be tightly defined and then numerically calibrated, which in turn allows for the standardization needed to support a worldwide deployment of fingerprint sensors with universally interpretable image qualities.

On-Wafer Device Characterization Including Uncertainty Estimates to 1.0 THz

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

data published in paper "On-Wafer Device Characterization Including Uncertainty Estimates to 1.0 THz"This dataset contains the calibrated scattering parameters (S-parameters) of a thru that was not used in calibration, and the simulated and calibrated S-parameters for series and shunt capacitors for both technology 1 and technology 2. It also contains the simulated and extracted capacitance from these S-parameters of the series and shunt capacitors.
