Model-Based Optical Metrology in R: M.o.R.
Data provided by National Institute of Standards and Technology
Reliable optical critical dimension (OCD) metrology in the regime where the inspection wavelength λ is much larger than the critical dimensions (CDs) of the measurand is only possible using a model-based approach. Due to the complexity of the models involved, that often require solving Maxwell's equations, many applications use a library based look-up approach. Here, the best experiment-to-theory fit is found by comparing the measurement data to a library consisting of pre-calculated simulations.

An example data set to demonstrate the usage of M.o.R., a shiny app for model-based metrology.
Data provided by National Institute of Standards and Technology
This data set consists of several files that were created to accompany M.o.R., a shiny app created by the Surface & Nanostructure Metrology Group in the Engineering Physics Division of the Physical Measurement Laboratory (PML) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. It was created to simplify model-based metrology. A detailed explanation of the proper usage can be found in the M.o.R. documentation.

EDGe$ (Economic Decision Guide Software) Tool (Beta)
Data provided by National Institute of Standards and Technology
The EDGe$ Tool brings to your fingertips a powerful technique for selecting cost-effective community resilience projects. This decision support software is designed to support those engaged in community-level resilience planning, including community planners and resilience officers, as well as economic development, budget, and public works officials. It provides a standard economic methodology for evaluating investment decisions required to improve the ability of communities to adapt to, withstand, and quickly recover from natural, technology, and human-caused disruptive events.

NIST Micronutrients Measurement Quality Assurance Program Winter and Summer 2017 Comparability Studies
Data provided by National Institute of Standards and Technology
The Micronutrients Measurement Quality Assurance Program (MMQAP) was coordinated by the Chemical Sciences Division and supported measurement technology for selected fat- and water-soluble vitamins and carotenoids in human serum. This program was initiated in 1984 by the National Cancer Institute Division of Cancer Prevention and Control to ensure the long-term reliability of the measurements made while studying the possible cancer chemoprevention roles of these compounds.

NISTfit
Data provided by National Institute of Standards and Technology
NISTFIT is a heavily abstracted C++-based kernel for fitting correlations. The software is written in our source languages. The current trend in computer architecture is for increasingly parallel computation while the clock frequency stagnates. The increase in computing speed is achieved by dividing a process into several threads which are executed in parallel on multiple processors, processors with multiple cores, cores that are able to handle multiple threads (hyper-threading), graphical processing units (GPU), or co-processors.

Cloud of Reproducible Records
Data provided by National Institute of Standards and Technology
Cloud of Reproducible Records (CoRR) is a web platform to support computation version control tools such as Sumatra, Reprozip, CDE, and NoWorkflow. These tools are seen as support for reproducible research, yet they are facing issues in adoption when compared to their source code counterparts like Git, Subversion, and Mercurial. This is mostly due to the fact that the latter have support from web platforms dedicated to increasing their content exposure, i.e. Github, Bitbucket, SourceForge, etc.

CHiMaD Phase Field
Data provided by National Institute of Standards and Technology
CHiMaD Phase Field - Integrating the phase field community
In January 2015 a group of phase field theorists and code developers met at Northwestern University to discuss ways for the community to improve code collaboration efforts. Everyone agreed that the community needs to become more open and work in a more collaborative manner.
