It is produced by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Advanced Clear Sky Processor for Ocean (ACSPO) using L2P (Level 2 Preprocessed) product acquired from the Meteorological Operational satellite B (Metop-B) Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer 3 (AVHRR/3) in Full Resolution Area Coverage (FRAC) mode as input.

Data include NMR spectra, FTIR spectra, Raman spectra, SEC traces, and DSC traces of isotopically labeled polyethylene materials. Chemical structures of the samples are also included as .png image files and .mol chemical table files, which can be opened with most chemical structure editors.

The data in the paper was collected from forensic facial professionals (examiners and reviewers) and undergraduate students. This dataset represents data collected from the Shipboard Environmental (data) Acquisition System (SEAS), a program developed by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to provide accurate meteorological and oceanographic data in real time from ships at sea through the use of satellite data transmission techniques. The system transmits data through either the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES) or the International Maritime Satellite Organization (INMARSAT C) satellites to NOAA for use in weather, climatological and ocean models.

This dataset includes navigational data collected aboard the Sikuliaq during cruise SKQ201921S in the North Pacific Ocean from 2019-10-09 to 2019-10-24. These data include LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, course over ground, and speed over ground. The instruments used to collect these data include GPS. These data were collected by Edward Dever of Oregon State University; College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences, and by University of Alaska - Fairbanks as part of OOI - Dever.
