2024 American Community Survey: 5-Year Estimates - Public Use Microdata Sample Puerto Rico

The Public Use Microdata Sample (PUMS) for Puerto Rico (PR) contains a sample of responses to the Puerto Rico Community Survey (PRCS). The PRCS is similar to, but separate from, the American Community Survey (ACS). The PRCS collects data about the population and housing units in Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico data is not included in the national PUMS files. It is published as a state equivalent file and has a State FIPS code of "72".

`{frbca}` is an R package supporting economic evaluation of functional recovery design for buildings. The goal of frbca is to conduct benefit-cost analysis (BCA) for buildings archetypes designed for functional recovery. The inputs include:
- Expected Annualized Losses (EALs) for (i) a baseline (code-conforming) design and (ii) recovery-based design interventions
- Structural and nonstructural costs for both (i) and (ii)
- A list of analysis parameters, including discount rate, time horizon, and economic analysis parameters such as business income

Standardized Approach for Assessing Wireless IoT Devices in Millimeter-Wave Industrial Work-Cell Channels

In this paper, we present a standardized, repeatable test approach that replicates key features of measured industrial environments in a fully-characterized hybrid test chamber. The hybrid chamber consists of an anechoic chamber along with movable metallic spheres that provide discrete reconfigurable multipath components. The chamber is characterized by a synthetic-aperture system providing a reference measurement that captures the non-idealities of the chamber along with the intended spatial multipath, completing characterization of the test environment.

Southern Makassar Strait, Indonesian Seas, coral Δ14C from 1952 to 1993 and Northern Lombok Strait coral Ba/Ca from 1905 to 2016 (NCEI Accession 0309661)

There is one bimonthly coral Δ14C timeseries from the western Makassar Strait in the Indonesian Seas, and one bimonthly coral Ba/Ca record from the Northern Lombok Strait in the Indonesian Seas. These data were used to explore the climate drivers of biennial variability, namely the interaction of ENSO and the East Asian Winter Monsoon.

This dataset contains profile discrete measurements of dissolved inorganic carbon, total alkalinity, pH on total scale, water temperature, salinity, nutrients, and oxygen collected during NOAA Ship Henry B. Bigelow cruise HB2403 (EXPOCODE 33HH20240526) in New York Bight, North Atlantic Ocean, Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary from 2024-05-26 to 2024-06-14. Increasing amounts of atmospheric carbon dioxide from human industrial activities are causing changes in global ocean carbon chemistry ultimately resulting in a reduction in pH, a process termed ocean acidification.
