Surface Ocean CO2 Atlas Database Version 2021 (SOCATv2021) (NCEI Accession 0235360)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This dataset consists of the Surface Ocean CO2 Atlas Version 2021 (SOCATv2021) data product files. The Surface Ocean CO2 Atlas (SOCAT) documents the increase in surface ocean CO2 (carbon dioxide), a critical measure as the oceans are taking up one quarter of the global CO2 emissions from human activity. SOCAT version 2021 has 30.6 million quality-controlled surface ocean fCO2 (fugacity of CO2) observations with an estimated accuracy of better than 5 μatm and a WOCE flag of 2 (good) from 1957 to 2020 for the global oceans and coastal seas.

An Integrated Assessment of Oil and Gas Release into the Marine Environment at the Former Taylor Energy MC20 Site in the Gulf of Mexico 2018-09-01 to 2018-09-07 (NCEI Accession 0235428)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
NOAA’s NCCOS, partners at Florida State University (FSU), Florida International University (FIU), and TDI Brooks International, and with funding from BSEE conducted a series of integrated surveys from 1 to 7 September, 2018 at the former Taylor Energy MC20 site in the northern Gulf of Mexico. These surveys included surface and subsurface acoustic measurements, mid-water column oil, gas, and water collections, surface water sample collections, mid-water column video bubble collections, surface methane collections, and marine sediment collections.

Station, Ship, and others collected from Northwest Explorer in Bering Sea - Coastal Waters of Western Alaska from 2019-08-30 to 2019-09-16 (NCEI Accession 0236265)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The northern Bering Sea (NBS) surface trawl survey is a multi-disciplinary research survey that has supported annual sampling of the inner domain (bottom depths generally less than 55 m) of the NBS (60°N–66.5°N). This dataset includes station, catch (number and weight of all species captured in surface trawl operations), and individual fish information of the sampled portion of the catch. Similar to prior years, the jellyfish species, northern sea nettle (Chrysaora melanaster), had the largest surface trawl catch biomass with a total catch of 6,989 kg in 2019.
