HCBC Analysis Ready Clustered Data from the Hawaiian Archipelago 2019 Bleaching Event (NCEI Accession 0239862)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The analysis-ready data described here result from performing hierarchical clustering of individual coral bleaching surveys conducted across the Hawaiian Archipelago in 2014, 2015, and 2019. In order to resolve issues of spatial autocorrelation, the surveys were grouped into distinct clusters with a spatial resolution of 1km. The data was stratified across depths to generate metrics for up to three depth bins per cluster: shallow (0-6m), mid (>6-18m), and deep (>18m).

Temperature, salinity, oxygen, and other data parameters collected by CTD and XBT from R/V PELICAN (cruise PE15-28) in the northern Gulf of Mexico from 2015-06-24 to 2015-07-01 (NCEI Accession 0239876)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This dataset contains CTD casts and expendable bathythermograph (XBT) measurements taken in the northern Gulf of Mexico as part of a larger acoustic measurement expedition. The data were collected at ten sites during R/V Pelican cruise PE15-28, 2015-06-24 - 2015-07-01. XBT temperature profiles, collected with a Lockheed Martin Sippican MK21 with a hand-held launcher. A Sea-Bird SBE 911 CTD with processing software was used to collect temperature, salinity, conductivity, dissolved oxygen (raw measurements), and fluorescence/chlorophyll data.

MOCNESS profile and ichthyoplankton and decapod specimen identification data collected during NRDA Plankton Survey Nick Skansi 9 (NS9) in the northern Gulf of Mexico from 2011-04-17 to 2011-06-26 (NCEI Accession 0239999)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This data package contains MOCNESS (Multiple Opening/Closing Net Environmental Sensing System) profile data and other ichthyoplankton and decapod data collected during Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA) Plankton Survey Nick Skansi 9 (NS9) in the Gulf of Mexico from 2011-04-17 to 2011-06-26. This survey was part of a series of NS NRDA cruises conducted in 2010 and 2011 to evaluate the distribution and densities of ichthyoplankton and other zooplankton in northern Gulf of Mexico waters potentially affected by the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill (DWHOS).
