NRDA-processed CTD data from NOAA Ship HENRY B. BIGELOW in the Gulf of Mexico, Cruise 1 Leg 1, collected from 2010-08-03 to 2010-08-10, associated with the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill event (NCEI Accession 0127951)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Conductivity Temperature and Depth (CTD) measurements were collected aboard NOAA Ship Henry B. Bigelow to determine physical oceanographic parameters of the water column, and in some cases used to help guide sample collection as part of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill sampling effort. Temperature, conductivity/salinity, depth, dissolved oxygen, and fluorometry data were collected onboard NOAA Ship Henry B. Bigelow, Cruise 01. The final product is a series of NetCDF files containing every CTD cast that has been processed and quality checked.

Total alkalinity, pH, dissolved oxygen, and other variables collected from time series observations using alkalinity titrator, pH electrode, oxygen optode and other instruments in a shallow back reef on Ofu, American Samoa from 2011-11-12 to 2012-03-27 (NCEI Accession 0127952)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This dataset consists of time series of physical and biogeochemical data from 8 locations (8 tubes) in Pool 100 as well as temperature time series from Pool 300, an adjacent back reef Pool. The 8 tubes are polypropylene tubes that are strung out onto the reef in order to pump water to beachside instrumentation. Therefore, sampling from the tubes defines the edges of a 3-dimensional sampling box 14 m in width by 40 m in length from which water was sampled from all 8 edges continuously for ~1 week. Later, we collected temperature data from Pool 300 as described above.

NRDA-processed CTD data from NOAA Ship GORDON GUNTER in the Gulf of Mexico, Cruise 1004 Leg 1, collected from 2010-08-26 to 2010-09-09, associated with the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill event (NCEI Accession 0128048)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Initial Conductivity Temperature and Depth (CTD) measurements were collected aboard NOAA Ship Gordon Gunter to determine water column stratification or other physical oceanographic parameters that will help determine depth of samples collected and further validate the model. The final product is a netCDF file (or series of netCDF files) containing every CTD cast that has been processed and quality checked. Note this is provisional data.
