Dissolved inorganic carbon, total alkalinity, pH, phosphate, dissolved oxygen, and other variables collected from surface discrete observations using Niskin bottle and other instruments from R/V Sultana in the southwest coast of Puerto Rico from 2009-01-05 to 2021-03-19 (NCEI Accession 0145164)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This time series dataset includes weekly and bi-weekly discrete seawater samples of pH and total alkalinity, dissolved inorganic carbon, phosphates and profile measurements of temperature and salinity from 2009 to 2021. These are used to track the dynamics and controls on local carbon chemistry at the southwest part of Puerto Rico in support of the ocean acidification and water quality research in regional coastal and near-shore zones.

California sea lion and northern fur seal censuses conducted at Channel Islands, California by Alaska Fisheries Science Center from 1969-07-31 to 2015-08-08 (NCEI Accession 0145165)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The National Marine Mammal Laboratories' California Current Ecosystem Program (AFSC/NOAA) initiated and maintains census programs for California sea lions (Zalophus californianus) and northern fur seals (Callorhinus ursinus) at San Miguel and San Nicolas Islands, California. The program documents annual pup births, pup mortality, and temporal patterns in adult and juvenile presence at San Miguel Island. For both species, the database contains field data on the annual number of live pups and dead pups by location.

Food habit studies of pinnipeds conducted at San Miguel Island, California by Alaska Fisheries Science Center, National Marine Mammal Laboratory from 1980-02-01 to 2014-01-31 (NCEI Accession 0145166)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The National Marine Mammal Laboratories' California Current Ecosystem Program (AFSC/NOAA) collects fecal samples to examine the diet of pinnipeds, including California sea lions (Zalophus californianus), northern fur seals (Callorhinus ursinus), northern elephant seals (Mirounga angustirostris), and Pacific harbor seals (Phoca vitulina) on San Miguel Island, California. Data are used to examine temporal changes in diet by the populations, as well as to make intra- and inter-specific comparisons at San Miguel Island.

Survival and natality rate observations of California sea lions at San Miguel Island, California conducted by Alaska Fisheries Science Center, National Marine Mammal Laboratory from 1987-09-20 to 2014-09-25 (NCEI Accession 0145167)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The dataset contains initial capture and marking data for California sea lion (Zalophus californianus) pups at San Miguel Island, California and subsequent resighting of the marked animals throughout the time series. The data are used in mark-recapture analysis to estimate survival and natality rates.

Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide, salinity and other variables collected from Surface underway observations using Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer, Shower head chamber equilibrator for autonomous carbon dioxide (CO2) measurement and other instruments from LAURENCE M. GOULD in the South Atlantic Ocean, South Pacific Ocean and Southern Oceans from 2014-01-01 to 2014-12-20 (NCEI Accession 0145200)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This dataset includes Surface underway data collected from LAURENCE M. GOULD in the South Atlantic Ocean, South Pacific Ocean and Southern Oceans (> 60 degrees South) from 2014-01-01 to 2014-12-20. These data include BAROMETRIC PRESSURE, Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide - atmosphere, Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide - water, SALINITY and SEA SURFACE TEMPERATURE. The instruments used to collect these data include Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer and Shower head chamber equilibrator for autonomous carbon dioxide (CO2) measurement.

Food habits studies of Steller sea lions in Washington, California conducted by Alaska Fisheries Science Center, National Marine Mammal Laboratory from 1993-05-01 to 1999-10-01 (NCEI Accession 0145304)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
From 1993 to 1999, The National Marine Mammal Laboratories' California Current Ecosystem Program (AFSC/NOAA) collected fecal samples from Steller sea lions in Washington to examine their diet. Most of the collections are from sites on the northern coast of Washington where Steller sea lions are most common and abundant.

Oceanographic data collected during the EX1601 Transit and Mission Patch Test on NOAA Ship OKEANOS EXPLORER in the North Pacific Ocean from 2016-01-20 to 2016-02-07 (NCEI Accession 0145341)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Normal underway operations and mapping patch testing. Bathymetric mapping of either the Murray or Molokai Fracture Zones during the transit to Hawaii was planned, as allowed by equipment shakedown priorities and prevailing sea conditions. CTD casts were requested at strategic locations along the fracture zone.

Digital Elevation Model and orthophotographs of Greenland based on aerial photographs from 1978-1987 (G150 AERODEM) (NCEI Accession 0145405)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Here, we present a medium-resolution DEM and orthophotographs that consistently cover the entire surroundings and margins of the Greenland Ice Sheet 1978-1987. About 3,500 aerial photographs of Greenland are combined with field surveyed geodetic ground control to produce a 25 m gridded DEM and a 2 m black-and-white digital orthophotograph. Supporting data consist of a reliability mask and a photo footprint coverage with assigned recording dates.
