Coral Ecosystem Connectivity from Pulley Ridge to the Florida Keys: Moored Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler Time-Series Data from 2012-08-15 to 2015-06-24 (NCEI Accession 0181331)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Bottom-mounted, upward-facing, acoustic Doppler current profilers (ADCPs) were deployed at three locations (Northern Dry Tortugas, Southern Dry Tortugas and Pulley Ridge) across the southwest Florida shelf between 2012 and 2015. Each ADCP instrument recorded hourly measurements of near-surface and near-bottom water velocity (east/west component u, north/south component v, magnitude, and direction) and bottom temperature. A 40-hour low-pass filter (40HLP) was applied to the data, and vertically-integrated mean horizontal water velocity (VIMHWV) calculated.

Water temperature, salinity, total alkalinity, carbonate chemistry, and other parameters from CTD casts and water samples collected from R/V Falkor in the Phoenix Islands Protected Area, South Pacific Ocean from 2017-10-12 to 2017-10-29 (NCEI Accession 0182941)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This dataset contains water carbonate chemistry information and other parameters from CTD casts and corresponding water column samples collected in the Phoenix Islands Protected Area. Data including depth, temperature, oxygen concentration, and salinity were measured in situ. Data including total alkalinity, depth-corrected pH, pCO2, HCO3, CO3, CO2, and Ω aragonite saturation were calculated using laboratory techniques. This water chemistry data are especially important for the habitat and survival of calcium carbonate-forming organisms.

Water temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen profiles, and other data from CTD taken from NOAA Ship Bell M. Shimada, cruise SH-17-10, in the Northeast Pacific Ocean from 2017-11-01 to 2017-11-07 (NCEI Accession 0182942)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This dataset contains CTD casts from cruise SH-17-10 by NOAA Ship Bell M. Shimada in November 2017 in the Northeastern Pacific. This cruise had the objectives to service moorings from the CCE (California Current Ecosystem) and CORC (Consortium on the Ocean's Role in Climate) projects. To calibrate and validate the mooring data, CTD casts with water samples were done. The CTD data are reported here. The CTD salinity and oxygen data have been quality-controlled and adjusted using the water sample data. The raw CTD data files are available through NCEI accession 0170694.
