The coral demographic data described here result from belt transect surveys conducted by the Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center (PIFSC), Ecosystem Sciences Division (ESD) -- formerly the Coral Reef Ecosystem Division -- from 2002 to 2007 at coral reef sites in the Hawaiian and Mariana Archipelagos, American Samoa, and the Pacific Remote Island Areas as part of NOAA's Pacific Reef Assessment and Monitoring Program (Pacific RAMP) with funding from the NOAA Coral Reef Conservation Program (CRCP).

The geospatial, temperature and depth data included in this dataset are from towed-diver surveys (also referred to as towboard surveys) of coral reef ecosystems conducted during Pacific Reef Assessment and Monitoring Program (RAMP) cruises to the Hawaiian and Mariana Archipelagos, American Samoa, and the Pacific Remote Island Areas from 2000 to 2017 by the Ecosystem Sciences Division (formerly known as the Coral Reef Ecosystem Division) at the NOAA Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center (PIFSC).

This archival information package contains data file format descriptions and related codes needed to fully interpret NODC standard data formats developed and maintained by the NOAA National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC) from the 1960s until use of these standard formats, codes, and identifiers were largely deprecated in the mid-1990s.

This dataset consists of the Surface Ocean CO2 Atlas (SOCAT) data product files. SOCAT is a synthesis activity by the international marine carbon research community and has more than 100 contributors worldwide. SOCAT provides access to synthesis and gridded, quality controlled, observational products of surface ocean fCO2 (fugacity of carbon dioxide) for the global oceans and coastal seas.

This dataset includes surface underway, chemical, meteorological and physical data collected from R/V Aurora Australis in the Indian Ocean, South Pacific Ocean, Southern Oceans from 2018-01-15 to 2018-03-25. These data include air-sea difference of partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide (pCO2), pCO2 in atmosphere, pCO2 in the water, sea surface salinity, sea surface temperature, barometric pressure, wind direction and and wind speed. The instruments used to collect these data include barometric pressure sensor and carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer.

This dataset includes surface underway chemical, meteorological and physical data collected from SOOP M/V Nuka Arctica cruises in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2018-01-18 to 2018-11-30. These data include measurements of mole fraction of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the equilibrator headspace (dry) at equilibrator temperature, mole fraction of CO2 measured in dry outside air, barometric pressure in the equilibrator headspace, water temperature in equilibrator, sea surface temperature, and fugacity of CO2 in sea water at SST and 100% humidity.

This dataset includes surface underway chemical, meteorological and physical data collected from R/V Bjarni Saemundsson cruises in the Irminger Sea, Iceland Sea and North Atlantic from 2006-05-14 to 2019-10-21. These data include measurements of sea surface temperature (SST), equilibrator temperature (TEQ), equilibrator pressure (PEQ), mole fraction of carbon dioxide (xCO2) in dry air at TEQ, pCO2 at TEQ (PCO2TEQ). The instruments used to collect these data include carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer and shower head chamber equilibrator for autonomous CO2 measurement.

This dataset includes temperature time series data from temperature data loggers from deep shelf (20-30 m) and shallow shelf (0-10 m) depths in the lower Florida Keys, Florida, USA.

This dataset includes the monthly mean Sargassum density/coverage derived from MODIS measurements. The data are stored in netcdf, GeoTIFF, or ascii format. The coverage data range from 2001 to 2018 and the density data range from 2001 to 2010. The location covers from 20°S to 50°N and 98°W to 15°E. The data resolution is 0.5° by 0.5°.
