This data set contains information on historical marine debris survey and removal projects of the NOAA Marine Debris Program and its many funded partners. This data reports marine debris removal survey information and efforts by location, the amounts, and types of debris removed. The Marine Debris Clearinghouse data allows users in the marine debris community to discover these projects based on the project category, location, or debris type.

This dataset includes discrete measurements and profile observations of total alkalinity, pH on total scale, temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen and nutrients during the R/V Nathaniel B. Palmer the Southern Ocean Carbon and Climate Observations and Modeling (SOCCOM) project, NBP1701, HazMat cruise (EXPOCODE 320620161224) in the Southern Ocean from 2016-12-24 to 2017-01-20. SOCCOM project is a large scale National Science Foundation funded research project based at Princeton University that started in September 2014.

Three CTD surveys were conducted throughout Mobile Bay on a small boat on 2016-07-11, 2016-07-16 and 2016-07-19. Data includes individual CTD cast dates and locations. The data files are in netcdf format.

This dataset contains oceanographic data collected from NOAA Ship OKEANOS EXPLORER in the Gulf of Mexico from 2019-05-12 to 2019-05-24. Data acquisition from shipboard sensors includes navigational data, meteorological data (wind), and oceanographic data (bathythermograph, sound velocity probe, thermosalinograph). Additional data include Profile Data (ASVP, CTD, and XBT), raw and processed CTD data, event logs, images, and ROV ancillary data.

Push cores were collected once every two months, from May 2015 to May 2016, along five central bay sites and five adjacent marsh sites within Fourleague Bay, Louisiana. All sites fall within ~10 to 30 km of the Atchafalaya Delta, extending south towards the Gulf of Mexico. Cores were extruded in 2 cm intervals, dried, ground, and analyzed via gamma spectrometry for the presence of 7-Beryllium (t1/2 = ~53 days).

Conductivity-Temperature-Depth (CTD) Casts were conducted during project cruises on August 20-24, 2013, and August 18-24, 2014. Casts were conducted at project mooring sites located across the southwest Florida shelf: in the Northern Dry Tortugas, Southern Dry Tortugas, and at Pulley Ridge. Each mooring had an acoustic Doppler current profiler (ADCP) that recorded hourly measurements of near-surface and near-bottom water velocity, and bottom temperature.

This dataset includes Surface underway data collected from R/V Keifu Maru II in the Pacific Ocean, East China Sea and Sea of Japan, from 2017-01-10 to 2017-12-22. These data include barometric pressure, partial pressure of carbon dioxide - atmosphere, partial pressure of carbon dioxide - water, sea surface salinity and sea surface temperature. The instruments used to collect these data include carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer, shower head chamber equilibrator for autonomous carbon dioxide (CO2) measurement.

This dataset includes surface underway data collected from R/V Ryofu Maru III cruises in the North Pacific Ocean, Sea of Japan and East China Sea from 2017-01-07 to 2017-12-22. These data include partial pressure of carbon dioxide in the water, barometric pressure, sea surface salinity and sea surface temperature. The instruments used to collect these data include carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer, shower head chamber equilibrator for autonomous carbon dioxide (CO2) measurement.

This dataset includes discrete sample and profile data collected during the R/V Sarmiento de Gamboa OVIDE-16 cruise (EXPOCODE 29AH20160617) in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2016-06-17 to 2016-07-31. These data include total alkalinity, pH on sea water scale, oxygen, temperature, salinity, nutrients and chlorofluorocarbons. The instruments used to collect these data include alkalinity titrator, CTD, Niskin bottles and spectrophotometer.

This dataset consists of surface underway, chemical, meteorological and physical data collected during R/V Cefas Endeavour CEND coastal cruises in the North Atlantic Ocean, English Channel and North Sea from 2014-01-30 to 2014-12-29. These data include air-sea difference of partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2), pCO2 in atmosphere, pCO2 in the water, sea surface salinity and sea surface temperature. The instruments used to collect these data include Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer and shower head chamber equilibrator for autonomous carbon dioxide (CO2) measurement.
